Some two-thousand Brazilian demonstrators have participated in a protest against the World Cup which was focused on the cost of the stadiums and the poor conditions of public transportation.
Shouting slogans such as Come to the streets against the government and there will be no Cup, protesters marched in Sao Paolo, the biggest city in Brazil.
Some 23-hundred policemen were watching over the demonstration and despite the demonstrators' verbal attacks against them, all ended peacefully and for the first time no incident were reported.The police say they are purchasing 14 bullet proof trucks to help the Special Forces during the protests. The equipment they are buying also includes four water cannon trucks.
