NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) has captured rare footage of a coronal mass ejection (CME), or eruption of solar material, surging off the sun. CMEs belch huge clouds of superheated particles from the sun's corona - the wispy, outermost and hottest layer - and can reach speeds exceeding 1 million miles per hour.
