Shock: Fracking Used to Inject Nuclear Waste Underground for Decades

TruthStream Media | Mar 4, 2015 | Aaron Dykes and Melissa Melton

Unearthed articles from the 1960s detail how nuclear waste was buried beneath the Earth’s surface by Halliburton & Co. for decades as a means of disposing the by-products of post-World War II atomic energy production.

Fracking is already a controversial practice on its face; allowing U.S. industries to inject slurries of toxic, potentially carcinogenic compounds deep beneath the planet’s surface — as a means of “see no evil” waste disposal — already sounds ridiculous, dangerous, and stupid anyway without even going into further detail.

Alleged fracking links to the contamination of the public water supply and critical aquifers, as well as ties to earthquake upticks near drilling locations that are otherwise not prone to seismic activity have created uproar in the years since the 2005 “Cheney loophole,” which allowed the industry to circumvent the Safe Drinking Water Act by exempting fracking fluids, thus fast tracking shale fracking as a source of cheap natural gas.

Now, it is apparent that the fracking industry is also privvy to many secrets of the nuclear energy industry, and specifically, where the bodies are buried, err… dangerous nuclear waste is buried, rather — waste that atomic researchers have otherwise found so difficult to eliminate.

Truthstream uncovered several published newspaper accounts from the Spring of 1964 concerning a then-newly disclosed plan to dump nuclear waste produced by the atomic energy industry into hydraulic fracturing (fracking) wells using a cement slurry technique developed by Halliburton & Co. The top two fracking companies in the nation at the time were Halliburton and Dowell, a subsidiary of Dow Chemical.

And here we thought fracking was a relatively new industrial phenomenon growing in popularity over just the last couple of decades. Boy were we wrong. Revealed within these articles is Halliburton’s long-standing relationship with the secret government and deep ties between the oil and nuclear industries.

Teaming up with the U.S. Government and Union Carbide Corp., who operate nuclear materials divisions at the Oak Ridge National Laboratories in Tennessee, Halliburton was then credited with “solving” the radioactive waste problem faced by America’s secretive nuclear industry. Dumping waste via fracking had apparently been going on since 1960, according to the reports, but was only made public here in 1964.

Out of Sight, Out of Mind

Each of the articles Truthstream found carry the same account under different headlines, with four of them using identical copy, and the fifth, published in the San Antonio Express, slightly rewritten based upon the same source information. The photo captions of each story also add some useful tidbits:

These ran in the:

April 19, 1964 edition of the Great Bend Tribune,
the April 22, 1964 edition of the Warren Times-Mirror,
the April 26, 1964 edition of the Lubbock Avalanche Journal,
the May 3, 1964 edition of the San Antonio Express News (original)
and the June 15, 1964 edition of the Denton Record Chronicle.

The story read, in part:

“Two techniques originated by the petroleum industry for its own uses are expected to solve a major problem in the development of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes. The problem is the disposal of dangerous, sometimes deadly, radioactive waste by-products.”

“Researchers at Halliburton Co’s. Technical Center here working with Oak Ridge National Laboratory scientists, have combined the oil well cementing technique with the hydraulic fracturing production stimulation technique to entomb radioactive wastes in an impermeable shale formation a thousand feet underground.”

“The method used at Oak Ridge begins by mixing the waste with a cement slurry, pumping the mixture down a hole drilled into the Conasuaga shale and then fracturing the shale to create a horizontal crack. The crack fills with the mixture to form a thin, horizontal sheet several hundred feet across. The mix sets to permanently hold the radioactive waste in the formation.”

“Union Carbide Corp., which operates facilities at Oak Ridge for the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission, and Halliburton, which provides specialized oil field services such as cementing fracturing worldwide, have collaborated on the project since 1960.”

The mix remained liquid for 48 hours before it was supposed to permanently set and remain there, entombed, forever.

The articles make clear that the Atomic Energy Commission was preparing to use fracking as a means of disposing of nuclear wastes at additional facilities, with Oak Ridge being simply one of the largest, and the first to publicly disclose these out-of-sight disposal procedures:

“Oak Ridge has a radioactive waste disposal problem typical of the nation’s nuclear sites. Each year about four million gallons of waste, including such fission products as strontium 90, cesium 137 and ruthenium 103, are generated at Oak Ridge.”

“Among the disposal methods already tried have been dumping concrete-encased barrels of waste in the ocean or burying the waste in lead-lined containers. These are considered either too dangerous or too expensive or both.”

Unfortunately, the ocean has been used as a giant trashcan not only by the nuclear industry, but municipal garbage and landfill companies and many other entities as well, without any real concern about its significant effects on the food supply and larger ecosystem of the planet.

“If this process is successful for disposal of Oak Ridge National Laboratory intermediate-level wastes, it has potential application at other atomic energy sites where suitable geological conditions exist,” the Atomic Energy Commission says.”

The slightly different version in the San Antonio Express News added these details:

“A couple of techniques used by oilmen when they have hopes of production may soon be used by the Atomic Energy Commission for – of all things – radioactive garbage disposal.”

“Final tests are now under way at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Tennessee, in trying a combination of oil well cementing plus hydraulic fracturing to entomb radioactive wastes in an impermeable shale formation a thousand feet underground.”

Meanwhile, the Great Bend Tribune added information about the Halliburton executives involved in the plan in their caption for a photo which shows businessmen looking at a diagram explaining how nuclear waste like strontium 90 is mixed with cement and injected into shale formations:

“Halliburton engineer Mack Stogner, left, reviews the project with Harry P. Conroy, senior vice president and general manager of the oil field service firm, and W.D. Owsley, senior vice president.”

The process includes remote controlled operation of the hydraulic fracturing drill in order to shield workers from the “medium level” radioactive substances being dumped into the earth’s crust, as the Warren Times Mirror in Pennsylvania notes in the caption:

“Disposing of Waste – Working behind shielding and wearing film badges, Halliburton Company personnel use demounted oil field service units to dispose of radioactive waste generated at the Oak Ridge, Tenn. nuclear site.”

How often this procedure has been used at other facilities since then is not entirely clear, though we know from reports discussed below that the practice continued and there is no indication that it ever stopped.

Five years later, the October 22, 1969 edition of the San Bernardino County Sun carried a report titled, “3 Ways to Manage Radioactive Waste.”

It discussed the ongoing and growing problems with nuclear waste, naming three principle strategies for managing the toxic stuff, summed up as “(1) delay and decay, (2) concentrate and confine and (3) dilute and disperse,” discussing how materials with lower half lives can supposedly be safely sequestered and later dumped, while other materials can be simply diluted and poured into existing groundwater supplies and systems.

The UPI story originating out of Oak Ridge states, in part,

“Since the start of the atomic era in the 1940s, nuclear reactors around the nation have produced 75 million gallons of hazardous high level radioactive waste materials.”

“And scientists here and elsewhere around the nation still are wrestling with the problems of what to do with this material, which promises to become even more plentiful as more and more commercial nuclear reactors go into power production.”

Oak Ridge proclaims that it found a solution to dealing with high level nuclear wastes, which has thus far been to keep it,

“…buried a few feet underground in storage tanks – tanks which must be periodically replaced because of the natural deterioration of the steel and other materials of which they are fabricated.”

“It is in this area of confining the high level wastes, whose radioactive half life ranges up to 30 to 50 years, that the Atomic Energy Commission is pushing dramatic new concepts.”

“One disposal system, involving materials in the medium range of radioactivity, is the hydraulic fracturing procedures. This system is now being used at Oak Ridge and involves mixing the liquid radioactive waste with concrete to form a grout which is pumped into shale formations 500 to 800 feet underground.”

Note, this article cites a shallower depth, at levels as shallow as 500 feet, after the 1964 articles claimed a further removed depth of 1,000 feet to 5,000. The even “higher level wastes” were disposed of in abandoned salt mines, according to Oak Ridge.

Nuclear Waste ‘Safely Flushed Away’ into the Water Supply

The 1969 article states that “low level waste” is “material which can safely be flushed away into rivers and lakes or released into the atmosphere because the level of radioactivity is so low that is presents no hazard when diluted and flushed into man’s natural environment. The more difficult problem is involved in the high level, liquid and solid wastes which are produced in the reprocessing of used fuel elements from nuclear reactor cores.”

The idea that the waste dumped into water supplies was so “low level” as to be completely harmless is likely dubious and hopeful at best. Fluoride, a by-product of the nuclear power industry, was one of those constituents, and was transformed from being known as a rat poison to being known as a dental benefit by the original spin doctor and propagandist, Edward Bernays.

In his book “The Fluoride Deception,” author Christopher Bryson revealed how the nuclear industry also used fluoridation of the public water supply as a means of secretly dumping industrial waste after fluoride was a major by-product in the uranium enrichment process for building the atomic bomb. Bryson told Democracy Now:

The Manhattan Project needed fluoride to enrich uranium. That’s how they did it. The biggest industrial building in the world, for a time, was the fluoride gaseous diffusion plant in Tennessee the Manhattan Project and Dr. Hodge as the senior toxicologist for the Manhattan Project, were scared stiff less that workers would realize that the fluoride they were going to be breathing inside these plants was going to injury them and that the Manhattan Project, the key — the key of U.S. Strategic power in the Cold War Era, would be jeopardized because the Manhattan Project and the industrial contractors making the atomic bomb would be facing all these lawsuits from workers, all these lawsuits from farmers living around these industrial plants and so Harold Hodge assures us that fluoride is safe and good for children.

More recently, an Associated Press investigation found in 2011 that 48 of 65 nuclear sites in the United States were leaking tritium, a radioactive form of hydrogen, into groundwater supplies via corroded pipes and tunnels. AP found at least 37 locations were in direct violation of federal drinking water standards for tritium, in some cases hundreds of times over.

Fracking Nuclear Waste ‘Safe for Millions of Years’… Unless It Leaks

Some 30 trillion gallons of toxic waste has been kept out of sight, out of mind by U.S. industries that have injected it hundreds and thousands of feet underground into wells since the 1960s.

Scientists who work for these corporations have used computer modeling to assure the Environmental Protection Agency that this waste poses no threat to our aquifers and that layers of rock deep within the Earth would safely store this stuff like Tupperware for millenia.

Already, several incidents have proven that scientific computer models are no match for reality.

It is clear from a December 21, 1973 article that disposal of nuclear waste via fracking continued, along with promises that it would be safe for millions of years to come.

The Dixon Evening Telegraph wrote in “Geologists look at energy crunch”:

“The U.S. Government is disposing of approximately 250,000 gallons of intermediate-level wastes each year using a technique called hydraulic fracturing. Liquids are pumped into impervious shales 1,000 to 5,000 feet below the surface. High pressure is applied causing the rocks to fracture and the liquid moves out laterally. Because the rock and radioactive wastes it contains will not be exposed to the biosphere for millions of years, this method should be safe unless leakage into an overlying aquifer occurs.”

That is, as the article points out, unless there are leaks.

As we found in research, leakage is exactly what has happened time and again throughout the years, including at disposal sites for Oak Ridge National Laboratories, according to reports in the following cases.

Via ProPublica:

In April, 1967 pesticide waste injected by a chemical plant at Denver’s Rocky Mountain Arsenal destabilized a seismic fault, causing a magnitude 5.0 earthquake — strong enough to shatter windows and close schools — and jolting scientists with newfound risks of injection, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

A year later, a corroded hazardous waste well for pulping liquor at the Hammermill Paper Co., in Erie, Pa., ruptured. Five miles away, according to an EPA report, “a noxious black liquid seeped from an abandoned gas well” in Presque Isle State Park.

In 1975 in Beaumont, Texas, dioxin and a highly acidic herbicide injected underground by the Velsicol Chemical Corp. burned a hole through its well casing, sending as much as five million gallons of the waste into a nearby drinking water aquifer.

And these are hardly the only examples… in fact, it is just scratching the surface of an issue that is almost as incomprehensible as it is unfathomable.

Then in August 1984 in Oak Ridge, Tenn., radioactive waste was turned up by water monitoring near a deep injection well at a government nuclear facility.

Bingo…

There it is. The infallible, permanent, and “impermeable” deep injection wells that Halliburton and the Atomic Energy Commission considered as a solution to nuclear waste for eons to come were found turning up radioactive nuclear waste at the very Oak Ridge site where these 1960s disposal projects were taking place.

Subterranean Waste Disposal a ‘Cornerstone of the Nation’s Economy’

Those cemented wells, filled with injected disposal substances may be safely secured for a few years or even decades, but that is no guarantee for the years down the road and its certainly not the millenia as promised by Halliburton and others in the industry. In fact, many of the wells have been forgotten, abandoned, and are lost to the record books.
As ProPublica reports:

There are upwards of 2 million abandoned and plugged oil and gas wells in the U.S., more than 100,000 of which may not appear in regulators’ records. Sometimes they are just broken off tubes of steel, buried or sticking out of the ground. Many are supposed to be sealed shut with cement, but studies show that cement breaks down over time, allowing seepage up the well structure.

And many of these are injection wells, where all kinds of unwanted, toxic substances are dumped in order to be forgotten… though not necessarily gone.

Not only are these practices taking place, they are widespread… and widely defended, even with the known failures and safety issues.

Many scientists and regulators say the alternatives to the injection process — burning waste, treating wastewater, recycling, or disposing of waste on the surface — are far more expensive or bring additional environmental risks.

Subterranean waste disposal, they point out, is a cornerstone of the nation’s economy, relied on by the pharmaceutical, agricultural and chemical industries.
It’s also critical to a future less dependent on foreign oil: Hydraulic fracturing, “clean coal” technologies, nuclear fuel production and carbon storage (the keystone of the strategy to address climate change) all count on pushing waste into rock formations below the earth’s surface. (source)

Sure, maybe it’s better than dumping it directly into the waterways, but still. This isn’t just playing with fire, this is playing with the lives of everyone in the nation for generations to come.

Please read ProPublica’s full series of reports on this, starting here. Things have to change.

These people should not have started messing with something they did not know how to fully and safely manage.

How long can this madness continue until it winds up tainting every drinking glass in America?

Engineer Mario Salazar, who worked as a technical expert for 25 years with the EPA’s underground injection program in Washington, told ProPublica’s Abrahm Lustgarten something that should give us all pause about how radioactive nuclear waste and industrial pollutants in general are being handled, and where they may ultimately end up:

“In 10 to 100 years we are going to find out that most of our groundwater is polluted. A lot of people are going to get sick, and a lot of people may die.”

Why Fluoride In Drinking Water Is Poison

Prevent Disease | Jun 5, 2014 | Marco Torres

Since the new year, eight more cities and regions in Canada, Australia and The United States have no to fluoridating water supplies. Most developed nations, including the vast majority of western Europe, do not fluoridate their drinking water. Since health authorities in North America have refused to let go of the fluoridation paradigm, local communities are doing the work for them. Since 2010, over 70 communities have rejected the practice and the world is finally becoming aware of the dangers of poisoning drinking water with this toxic chemical.

In the few months, Oberon in New South Wales, Australia, Boyne Michigan, Bolton England, Saint John in New Brunswick, Canada and counties in Florida are the latest to say no to water fluoridation.

There are now serious facts and health risks regarding fluoridation which can no longer be ignored and the practice itself is being questioned by most of the world.

A growing number of communities are choosing to stop adding fluoride to their water systems, even though the federal government and federal health officials maintain their full support for a measure they say provides a 25 percent reduction in tooth decay nationwide.

"The fact that no one really knows what dosage a given person receives from fluoridated water makes the subject of benefits and harms very difficult to quantify," said Rainer Newberry, a professor of geochemistry at University of Alaska, Fairbanks, who sat on the committee that studied the issue prior to the June vote in Fairbanks. "And this presumably explains the number of studies with diverging conclusions."

The conclusion among these communities is that with fluoride now so widely available in toothpaste and mouthwash, there is less need to add it to water, which already has naturally occurring fluoride. Putting it in tap water, they say, is an imprecise way of distributing fluoride; how much fluoride a person gets depends on body weight and water consumed.

Austrian researchers proved in the 1970s that as little as 1 ppm fluoride concentration can disrupt DNA repair enzymes by 50%. When DNA can't repair damaged cells, we get old fast.

Fluoride prematurely ages the body, mainly by distortion of enzyme shape. All systems of the body are dependent upon enzymes. When fluoride changes the enzymes, this can damage every system and function of the body.

Anti-fluoride activist Christina Welsh says the government should end all fluoridation everywhere. "It is a complete fraud to suggest that fluoride reduces dental caries when this has never been proven. The opposite is true, fluoride has been found to cause cancer, osteoporosis and DNA damage among dozens of other illnesses," she said.

Dr. Paul Connett, PhD stated "When historians come to write about this period, they will single out fluoridation as the single biggest mistake in public policy that we've ever had."

David Kennedy, DDS President International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology said that "water fluoridation is the single largest case of scientific fraud, promoted by the government, supported by taxpayer dollars, aided and abetted by the ADA and the AMA, in the history of the planet."

Charles Gordon Heyd, MD, president, AMA stated "I am appalled at the prospect of using water as a vehicle for drugs. Fluoride is a corrosive poison that will produce serious effects on a long range basis. Any attempt to use water this way is deplorable."

L. Alesen, MD, president of the California Medical Association
Robotry said that "no physician in his right mind would hand to his patient a bottled filled with a dangerous drug with instructions to take as much or as little of it as he wished ... And yet, the Public Health Service is engaged upon a widespread propaganda program to insist that communities do exactly that ... The purpose of administering fluoride is not to render the water supply pure and potable but to contaminate it with a dangerous, toxic drug for the purpose of administering mass medication to the consumer, without regard to age or physical condition."

County in Florida Rejects Spending $800,000 to Fluoridate Water Supply

Natural Society | May 15, 2014 | Christina Sarich

About 60,000 households in Hernando County, Florida were debating on spending $800,000 in tax-payer money to poison themselves with fluoride a few months ago. According to Susan Goebel-Canning, the county’s director of environmental services, this is what it would cost to put the leftovers from the phosphate fertilizer and semiconductor industries into everyone’s water. Thankfully, they decided against fluoridating the water supplies.

It boils down to spending $30,000 per treatment plant and multiplying that by 27 – the number of plants the county would need to treat all its water. People on a well system would be unaffected, but 60,000 people in the county would be drinking fluoridated water – which has been proven to be toxic, and extremely harmful to human health.

Even the American Medical Association once told the truth about fluoride:
“Fluorides are general protoplasmic poisons, probably because of their capacity to modify the metabolism of cells by changing the permeability of the cell membrane and by inhibiting certain enzyme systems.” - Journal of the American Medical Association, Sept 18, 1943, Editorial
Yet, somehow Big Industry has convinced the world, through brainwashing the American Dental Association and health authorities in every nation, as well as lying to politicians, that fluoride is safe:

Rejection: 5 Fluoride Victories of 2014
“As a toxicologist involved in fluoride research for over ten years, I was stunned by the Calgary Regional Health Authority’s glib comments proclaiming water fluoridation safe. The ‘fifty years’ of studies about fluoride safety, do not exist. The “ongoing intensive research on fluorides and fluoridation’, does not exist, certainly none investigating safety.” - Dr. P. Mullenix, Ph.D.
“I am neither for or against fluoride,” Goebel-Canning said. “I will support what is best for the citizens of the county and respect the decision of the county commission.”
Many residents of Florida have been against mandatory water fluoridation, nonetheless a nearby county decided to fluoridate their water when Brooksville City Council members voted 4-1 last year to add the chemical to the water. There was vigorous debate leading up to that vote, but apparently it fell on deaf ears.

Three county commissioners of Hernando have decided not to fluoridate the water supplies, similar to Dallas, TX, which is considering ending 5 long decades of city water fluoridation.

Dallas Ends 5 Decades of Water Fluoridation: Saves $1 Million Annually in the Process

Natural Society | May 3, 2014 | Christina Sarich

It is taking effect in cities across the nation. Anti-fluoridation activists and knowledgeable consumers have finally tipped the scale, and now Dallas will cease poisoning its water supply with sodium fluoride, saving taxpayers a million dollars annually, along with a few IQ points.

After months of regular visits by citizens to city council meetings, the Dallas City Council decided last week to stop water fluoridation. Perhaps it was economic incentive alone that allowed the council to decide to end five decades of water fluoridation, or the tireless work of citizens who continuously probed council members about why they would fluoridate city water when it has been proven to be very dangerous to human health.

NBC 5 Dallas Fort Worth reported that the results from the last meeting surprised anti-fluoridation activists, who have been trying to get someone to listen to them about this industrial chemical and its risks for years.

Dallas City Council Member Sheffie Kadane said he discussed ending fluoridation with City Manager A.C. Gonzalez, citing Kadane as saying:
“We don’t need it and we’d just save a million dollars that we can use for something else. … We’re looking into seeing what we can do immediately so we can get those funds up front now.”
Kadane was backed by Council members Scott Griggs and Jennifer Staubach Gates. Anti-fluoridation activist Regina Imburgia said:
“Yeah. … This is major big. I knew we would prevail. It only makes sense. We’re spending too much money on an ineffective program”.
Imburgia said that there was no need to put fluoride in water when it had obvious health risks, and that people who really wanted fluoride to prevent tooth decay could just squeeze it out of a tube of toothpaste.

City council members focused on the savings of ending fluoridation, rather than the fact that its removal from municipal water was a public health concern.

Health Concerns over Toxic Fluoride

There have been multiple studies proving that fluoride is not metabolized easily by the body, and accumulates in the tissues and bones (much like glyphosate – a main ingredient in pesticides). Other studies have proven that accumulated fluoride can alter the activities of some enzymes involved in free-radical metabolism and whole brain functioning. Philippe Grandjean MD from the Department of Environmental Health at the Harvard School of Public Health, and Philip Landrigan MD, from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mt Sinai, New York, state that industrial chemicals can injure the developing brain in children, lowering their memory and IQ.

Fluoride is among five scientifically identified industrial chemicals that lead to neurological impairment:
  • Lead
  • Methylmercury
  • Polychlorinated biphenyls
  • Arsenic
  • Fluoride
Researchers Grandjean and Landrigan postulate that there are even more neurotoxicants which remain undiscovered, and propose a global prevention strategy to control what they describe as the pandemic of developmental neurotoxicity.

Anti-fluoridation advocates in Dallas will get their water fluoride free now, even if it is the last decades’ poor economy driving the point home to city officials.

Harvard Study: Fluoride Lowers Children’s Intelligence By 7 IQ Points

Harvard Study: Fluoride Lowers Children’s Intelligence By 7 IQ Points
Feb 10, 2014 | Washington's Blog

The Harvard School for Public Health reports:
In a meta-analysis, researchers from Harvard School of Public Health (HSPH) and China Medical University in Shenyang for the first time combined 27 studies and found strong indications that fluoride may adversely affect cognitive development in children. Based on the findings, the authors say that this risk should not be ignored, and that more research on fluoride’s impact on the developing brain is warranted.

The study [click for abstract] was published online in Environmental Health Perspectives on July 20, 2012.
Environmental Health Perspectives is a publication of the United States National Institutes of Health’s National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences.

Harvard’s announcement continues:
The average loss in IQ was reported as a standardized weighted mean difference of 0.45, which would be approximately equivalent to seven IQ points for commonly used IQ scores with a standard deviation of 15.   Some studies suggested that even slightly increased fluoride exposure could be toxic to the brain. Thus, children in high-fluoride areas had significantly lower IQ scores than those who lived in low-fluoride areas. The children studied were up to 14 years of age, but the investigators speculate that any toxic effect on brain development may have happened earlier, and that the brain may not be fully capable of compensating for the toxicity.“Fluoride seems to fit in with lead, mercury, and other poisons that cause chemical brain drain,” Grandjean says. “The effect of each toxicant may seem small, but the combined damage on a population scale can be serious, especially because the brain power of the next generation is crucial to all of us.”

Frack Attack on Lethbridge Alberta Canada

Frack Attack on Lethbridge Alberta Canada
Jan 21, 2014 | Veterans Today | Dr. Anthony Hall

Governments in the so-called developed world have become almost completely subordinate to the agendas of parasitical corporations that regularly undermine public health with the deregulated spewing of huge arrays of toxins into our air, our water, our food, and our very persons. Health Canada and the Food and Drug Administration in the United States have basically become extensions of companies like Monsanto, makers of an ecologically disastrous deluge of GMOs, suicide seeds, and cancer-causing glyphosate contamination. In league with compliant professional associations of dentists and doctors, governments continue to advance the Fluoride Deception based on the myth that a volatile neurotoxin is good for us when diffused in our tap water. An important element in the industrial production of nerve gas, nuclear weapons, aluminum, freon, rat poison, and anti-depression drugs, fluoride is injected into public drinking water without informed public consent. This practice, with its cumulative damage to our brains, thyroids, kidneys, and bones, is pressed forward on a dubious claim, initially sold by psy ops guru Edward Bernays, that mass fluoridation prevents cavities in teeth.

The mounting dangers to public health go on and on. Smart meters, cell phones and Wi Fi invade us with electromagnetic radiation. Antique nuclear energy plants surround us as Fukushima continues to spew the stuff of accelerating nuclear criticality into ocean, air and groundwater. Vaccines are making many recipients sick. Our skies are criss-crossed with chem trails as it becomes more and more clear that we have all been rendered human guinea pigs in a vast array of sometimes lethal scientific experiments. The most toxic pollution of all is the 24/7 contamination of the mental environment. This mental pollution exposes people to steady streams of diversion and disinformation. The disfigured venues of mass communication  regularly reassure us that war is peace, that environmental desecration provides the gateway to economic prosperity. The very instruments of our growing enslavement are made to appear as keys to liberation.

Soft Killing The American People Using Toxic Food, Toxic Water And Toxic Vaccines

Soft Killing The American People Using Toxic Food, Toxic Water And Toxic Vaccines
Dec 30, 2013 | The Truth | Michael Synder

Have you noticed that there has been an absolute explosion in the number of people developing chronic illnesses, heart disease, diabetes and cancer?  If you are like most Americans, you probably have quite a few family members and friends that are seriously ill right now.  Sadly, most Americans have absolutely no idea why this is happening.  Most of them just assume that all of this sickness is just “normal”.  But that is not the case at all.  The truth is that we are slowly killing ourselves by what we eat, by what we drink and by what we allow to be injected into our bodies.  The vast majority of people out there have never even heard about the dangers posed by aspartame, fluoride, genetically-modified food, pesticides, high fructose corn syrup, pharmaceutical drugs, cell phones and toxic vaccines.  Most of them have no idea that our food is toxic, our water is toxic and our vaccines are toxic.  Right now, it is estimated that approximately 70,000 chemicals are being used for commercial purposes, and as a result of our “modern lifestyles” we are literally being endlessly bombarded with toxins.  This has resulted in a massive tsunami of death, disease and chronic illness in America.  But very few people actually understand what is being done to all of us.  The following are just a few of the ways that the “soft killing” of the American people is taking place…

Toxic Food

Do you believe that “you are what you eat”?

Well, have you ever considered what the animals that you eat are being fed?

If you are like most Americans, you will probably eat beef several times this week.  But most Americans have no idea that our cows are being fed sawdust, chicken poop, candy, crab guts, limestone and dead cows that have been ground up on a regular basis.

Of course this is not true of all beef that you purchase at the grocery store.

But how do you tell which is which?  And if you go for the lowest price beef, there is a greater chance that you are getting beef from cows that have literally been fed garbage.

And of course it isn’t just cows that are being fed poop.  The truth is that there is a tremendous amount of it in many of our food products.  If you doubt this, just check out this article: “There Is A Staggering Amount Of Feces In Our Food“.

Sometimes, it is the ingredients that are actually listed on the side of the box that are the most dangerous.  Take aspartame for example.  Once upon a time, it was listed as a biochemical warfare agent by the Pentagon.  But now it is in thousands of food products in our grocery stores.

So is it safe for us to eat?  According to an article on Mercola.com, it has a long track record of causing adverse reactions and the government refuses to do anything about it…
Aspartame accounts for over 75 percent of the adverse reactions to food additives reported to the FDA. Many of these reactions are very serious including seizures and death.  A few of the 90 different documented symptoms listed in the report as being caused by aspartame include: Headaches/migraines, dizziness, seizures, nausea, numbness, muscle spasms, weight gain, rashes, depression, fatigue, irritability, tachycardia, insomnia, vision problems, hearing loss, heart palpitations, breathing difficulties, anxiety attacks, slurred speech, loss of taste, tinnitus, vertigo, memory loss, and joint pain.

According to researchers and physicians studying the adverse effects of aspartame, the following chronic illnesses can be triggered or worsened by ingesting of aspartame:  Brain tumors, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, chronic fatigue syndrome, parkinson’s disease, alzheimer’s, mental retardation, lymphoma, birth defects, fibromyalgia, and diabetes.
Toxic Water

Do you know what is in the water that you drink?

If not, perhaps you should do some investigating.  According to one recent survey, our drinking water is absolutely littered with dangerous contaminants
Researchers from the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) found that an astounding one-third of U.S. water systems contain traces of at least 18 unregulated and potentially hazardous contaminants, many of which are linked to causing endocrine disruption and cancer.

Based on a nationwide survey of 25 unnamed water utilities, scientists found traces of the herbicide metolachlor, for instance, a pesticide commonly applied to conventional corn, soy, cotton, safflower, potato and other crops, as well as the heavy metal strontium, which is linked to causing bone problems. Other chemicals identified include so-called perfluorinated compounds like perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), which numerous scientific studies have found can cause thyroid disease and various types of cancer.
After reading all this, you may never look at water the same way again.

Do you remember Erin Brockovich?  Well, according to the Washington Post the carcinogen that she was so concerned about has been found in the drinking water of most U.S. cities…
An environmental group that analyzed the drinking water in 35 cities across the United States, including Bethesda and Washington, found that most contained hexavalent chromium, a probable carcinogen that was made famous by the film “Erin Brockovich.”
Lovely, eh?

Not only is there hexavalent chromium in our drinking water, the reality of the matter is that there are thousands of other chemicals and prescription drugs in our water supply as a Time Magazine article from a while back detailed…
All told, there are about 3,000 prescription pharmaceuticals in use in the U.S. and thousands more over-the-counter drugs, not to mention creams and ointments we smear on and then shower off. “Between cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and other sources,” says John Spatz, commissioner of Chicago’s department of water management, “there are 80,000 potential combinations of chemicals.” It’s impossible to keep our drinking supply safe from a gusher like that.
And I haven’t even gotten to fluoride yet, which is purposely being put into the water supplies of most U.S. cities.

So precisely how dangerous is fluoride?  Well, the Fluoride Dangers blog puts it this way….
Even small amounts of fluoride consumed from tap water can damage your bones, teeth, brain, disrupt your thyroid function, lower IQ and/or cause cancer, according to evidence revealed in a groundbreaking 2006 National Research Council (NRC) fluoride report produced by a panel of experts who reviewed hundreds of published fluoride studies.
That certainly does not sound good.

So is fluoride in the water that you are drinking?

Perhaps you should find out.

The Natural Health and Longevity Resource Center has published a list of ten of the most significant health problems that scientific studies have shown that fluoride causes…
1. Fluoride exposure disrupts the synthesis of collagen and leads to the breakdown of collagen in bone, tendon, muscle, skin, cartilage, lungs, kidney and trachea.
2. Fluoride stimulates granule formation and oxygen consumption in white blood cells, but inhibits these processes when the white blood cell is challenged by a foreign agent in the blood.
3. Fluoride depletes the energy reserves and the ability of white blood cells to properly destroy foreign agents by the process of phagocytosis. As little as 0.2 ppm fluoride stimulates superoxide production in resting white blood cells, virtually abolishing phagocytosis. Even micro-molar amounts of fluoride, below 1 ppm, may seriously depress the ability of white blood cells to destroy pathogenic agents.
4. Fluoride confuses the immune system and causes it to attack the body’s own tissues, and increases the tumor growth rate in cancer prone individuals.
5. Fluoride inhibits antibody formation in the blood.
6. Fluoride depresses thyroid activity.
7. Fluorides have a disruptive effect on various tissues in the body.
8. Fluoride promotes development of bone cancer.
9. Fluorides cause premature aging of the human body.
10. Fluoride ingestion from mouth rinses and dentifrices in children is extremely hazardous to biological development, life span and general health.

Toxic Vaccines

Are the vaccines that you are allowing the doctors to inject into your children safe?

Today, in some areas of the country more than 30 vaccines are being given to young children before the age of 3.

30 vaccines.

That is absolute madness.

They are overloading the systems of these young babies with massive amounts of toxins and the results are predictable.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the number of children in the United States with autism has risen by 78 percent over the past decade.

I have personally read hundreds of testimonies of mothers losing their babies right after being vaccinated and children developing autism right after being vaccinated.  Yet the medical community continues to vigorously deny the connection.

But without a doubt, the evidence is mounting.  The following is an excerpt from a Huffington Post article about the danger of vaccines…
It’s a fact that many children with ASD regressed following normal development just as they were receiving multiple vaccines at regular doctor visits. Health officials say the timing is entirely coincidental.

Regression usually occurs between 12 and 24 months, though one study found that some children show signs of autism as early as six months, but never before that age.

By six months of age, most U.S. children have received about 18 inoculations containing 24 vaccines against nine diseases. Over the next two years or so, they will receive another nine shots containing 14 vaccines against 12 diseases.

So whether a child regresses at six months, or 18 months, the tragedy happens during a period of intensive vaccination. In many cases, parents report that the child had an abnormal reaction after being vaccinated (seizures, spiking-fevers, diarrhea, lethargy, high-pitched screaming and/or other symptoms).
Of course there will be many angry comments following this article denying that any of this is true.

And many of those making these comments will not even know what thimerosal is or why countries all over the planet have banned thimerosal from their vaccines.  The following comes from an article by Dawn Prate….
“In 1977, a Russian study found that adults exposed to ethylmercury, the form of mercury in thimerosal, suffered brain damage years later. Studies on thimerosal poisoning also describe tubular necrosis and nervous system injury, including obtundation, coma and death. As a result of these findings, Russia banned thimerosal from children’s vaccines in 1980. Denmark, Austria, Japan, Great Britain and all the Scandinavian countries have also banned the preservative”
So why is thimerosal not banned in the United States?

That is a very, very good question.

Unfortunately, in most states the authorities have doubled down on their efforts to force people to take these dangerous vaccines.  In fact, a pregnant nurse in Pennsylvania was just fired for refusing to take a flu vaccine.

It is time that the American people heard the truth.  You can find dozens of vaccine horror stories right here.  Do your own research and come to your own conclusions.  Don’t just blindly accept whatever the mainstream media tells you to believe.

And I don’t even have the space in this article to get into the study that showed a 40 percent increased risk of brain tumors from using cell phones, the connection between Wi-Fi and cancer, the chemtrails being sprayed all over the planet, or the incredible danger that genetically-modified food represents.

Without a doubt, an entire book could be written on how we are all being systematically poisoned.
So what do you think?

Is there anything that you would like to add to this discussion?

Nine states propose 16 anti-fluoridation bills in 2013 to protect public against poison

Nine states propose 16 anti-fluoridation bills in 2013 to protect public against poison
Dec 20, 2013 | Natural News | Ethan A. Huff

Things are heating up on the fluoride front as states and municipalities all across the country rethink their official water fluoridation policies. According to the Fluoride Action Network (FAN), some 16 pieces of legislation across nine states were introduced or passed just within the past year to protect the public against this pervasive poison.

In Utah, for instance, the Safe Drinking Water Disclosure Act was passed back in April, requiring that all shipments of fluoride chemicals coming into the state be accompanied by certificates of analysis detailing the presence of any outside contaminants. The law reportedly took effect on July 1, allowing local water utilities to end their fluoridation programs in the event that certificates are not provided.

Fluoride additives, as you may recall, are often laced with other poisons like arsenic, cadmium and even radioactive isotopes that persist from the waste liquids used by the phosphate fertilizer and aluminum manufacturing industries to capture pollutants. These pollutants, not the natural environment, are the source from which the artificial fluoride chemicals added to water supplies are derived.

Tennessee, a leader in anti-fluoridation legislation, introduced two similar bills earlier this year requiring fluoride manufacturers to disclose the full contents of their chemicals. House Bill 1215 and Senate Bill 1274 were also accompanied by HB 1186 and SB 1211, two bills that would allow local voters to decide whether or not to continue fluoridating their water supplies. Statewide, Tennessee also introduced HR 130, which would prohibit state employees or agencies from endorsing fluoride.

"In years past the dental lobby has been successful in getting pro-fluoridation bills introduced in state legislatures across the United States, including legislation that would mandate statewide fluoridation -- a law 13 states presently have. But the tables are turning," explains FAN. "In 2013... instead of the introduction of pro-fluoride bills, we saw the exact opposite, with the introduction of 16 anti-fluoridation bills in 9 states."

Five states introduce legislation to eliminate fluoridation mandates

Concerning statewide fluoridation mandates, New Jersey successfully thwarted attempts by some legislators to require that its 9 million residents be forcibly medicated with fluoride poison. And at least five bills have been introduced, one each in South Dakota, Connecticut, Minnesota, Illinois and Arkansas, to end longstanding fluoridation mandates.

"With the exception of the Illinois bill, all of these proposals are still being considered and are expected to have public hearings in 2014," adds FAN. "In preparation, FAN has been working with our point people and local groups within these states to organize grassroots campaigns in support of the legislation."

Besides the aforementioned bills, a handful of other anti-fluoride bills were introduced this year in Kansas, Massachusetts and New York. HB 2372 in Kansas now requires that warnings about fluoride and its effect on IQ -- a Harvard University study recently confirmed that fluoride exposure lowers IQ levels in children -- be printed on water bills.

In Massachusetts, a similar bill would require an infant fluoride warning similar to the infant warnings currently issued in New Hampshire; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and Austin, Texas. And in New York, A 141 has been introduced to require that all fluoridated communities lower their poisoning level from 1.2 parts per million (ppm) of fluoride to 0.7 ppm of fluoride, in accordance with new recommendations from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

"It doesn't take an expert to see that the tide has shifted, that state legislators are discovering the truth about fluoridation, and that the momentum is clearly on our side going into the 2014 legislative sessions," concludes FAN.

Exposed: Are You Eating Poop? Human BioSludge Sold as 'Organic' Compost

Eat Sh*t! Human BioSludge Sold as 'Organic' Compost
Oct 29, 2013 | TRUTHstreammedia

Sewage sludge is "the wet solid cake produced after human, residential and industrial wastes are combined in wastewater treatment plants". (http://www.sludgevictims.com/3-SV2002...)

Industrial companies need viable places to dump their waste products, and just as the fertilizer industry has found a market for fluoride waste in drinking water, the waste water industry has created a fertilizer market using sewer sludge as a cheap crop input. Moreover, the "organic" and natural compost movement associated with healthy, homegrown crops has adopted this up-cycled humanure that the EPA and several lobbyists say is 'safe' for unrestricted use on veggies and more. The only problem is that the compost made by cities from what is flushed down the toilet may contain residual pharmaceutical drugs, antibiotics, sex hormones and other endocrine disruptors, radiated derivatives from cancer treatments, steroids and other excreted compounds that could enter the human body, crops or food chain/environment with total affects unknown.

Nestle: Global Water Predator

Nestle: Global Water Predator
Oct 16, 2013 | Life Wise / Stephen Lendman

Nestle is a global predator. It lies calling itself “the world’s leading nutrition, health and wellness company.”

“Our mission of ‘Good Food, Good Life’ is to provide consumers with the best tasting, most nutritious choices in a wide range of food and beverage categories and eating occasions, from morning to night.”

Acquiring competitors secured it numerous water brands. They’re listed under the heading “Nestle Waters: The Healthy Hydration Company.”

They include Aqua Spring, Deep Spring, Glaciar, Ice Mountain, Perrier, Poland Spring, and Pure Life among others. They’re sold in dozens of countries worldwide.

It does so by stealing community water resources. It claims what’s “good for business can also be beneficial to society. This is what we call Creating Shared Value,” it claims.

It calls nutrition the only Nestle “raison d’etre.” Its concern for public health rings hollow. Profits alone matter.

“Rational water management is an absolute priority,” Nestle claims. It drains public aquifers and other water sources. It leaves communities high and dry when they’re exhausted.

It’s costly bottled water is no different from what most people in developed countries can get through their taps.

For sure it’s no better. At times it’s worse. In July 2013, the Natural Resources Defense Council(NRDC) headlined “Bottled Water: Pure Drink or Pure Hype?”

Its report discussed earlier findings. They show “bottled water is not necessarily safer than tap water.” Facts and figures don’t lie.

They expose water predators like Nestle. They rip off consumers. They make false claims to do so.

NRDC found “major gaps in bottled water regulation and conclude(d) that bottled water is not necessarily safer than tap water.”

Independent labs were used. They tested over 1,000 bottles of 103 brands.

One-third contained “significant contamination (i.e. levels of chemical or bacterial contaminants exceeding those allowed under a state or industry standard or guideline).”

Contaminants found in some samples included excessive coliform bacteria, and synthetic organic compounds. Ones named were toluene, xylene, styrene and others.

Flouride, phthalate, arsenic, nitrates, and other inorganic contaminants were found. Labeling stresses purity.

A January 2009 Food and Water Watch report was titled “All Bottled Up: Nestle’s Pursuit of Community Water,” saying:

“Nestle takes water from US communities” on the cheap. It “bottles and sells it. (It does so) for billions of dollars in profit. (It) dumps the environmental and other costs onto society.”

It ignores community and citizen rights. It plunders for bottom line priorities. It bottles what’s no different from tap water. It sells it “for thousands of times more cost” than what most people in developed countries can get cheap or free.

It contributes to pollution doing so. It from its plastic bottle production, as well as processing and distributing water.

It “greenwashe(s)” harmful environmental fallout. “Of the billions of empty plastic bottles that end up in landfills every year, Nestle’s brands” contribute hundreds of millions.

It’s a global predator writ large. It’s all take and no give. Weak regulatory oversight permits ripping off communities for profit.

Vandana Shiva calls privatized water “ecological terrorism.” It contributes to global water crisis conditions. It causes overuse, waste and pollution.

It results in “the most pervasive, most severe, and most invisible dimension of the ecological devastation of the earth.”

It’s a road to “ecological crisis with commercial causes but no market solutions.”

It “destroy(s) the earth and aggravate(s) inequality. Solving “an ecological crisis is ecological,” she says. Solving “injustice is democracy.”

Water is a fundamental human right. Nestle claims it a food for sale. Shiva says water rights are natural and “usufructuary.”

It can be “used.” It can’t be “owned.” It belongs to everyone. It’s part of the commons.

It’s essential for life “under customary laws. (T)he right to water has been accepted as a natural, social fact.”

It’s “nature’s gift.” There’s no substitute. It’s vital “for sustenance needs.” Life is “interconnected through water.”

It’s limited and exhaustible. Conserving it is essential.

“No one has a right to overuse, abuse, waste, pollute,” or own it.

It’s not a commodity. It belongs to everyone. Water predators like Nestle exploit it for profit.

Stop Nestle Waters.org calls itself “a gathering point for rural citizens fighting to preserve control of their water supplies and local economies from Nestle.”

“Why are we targeting Nestle Waters,” it asked? “Because Nestle’s predatory tactics in rural communities divide small towns and pit residents against each other.”

“Because Nestle reaps huge profits from the water they extract from rural communities – which are left to deal with the damage to watersheds, increases in pollution and the loss of their quiet rural lifestyle.”

“Because Nestle has a pattern of bludgeoning small communities and opponents with lawsuits and interfering in local elections to gain control of local water supplies.”

“Because the environmental consequences of bottled water on our atmosphere, watersheds and landfills are simply too big to ignore.”

Since 1993, McCloud, CA residents contested Nestle’s plan to build America’s largest bottling plant. They intended a huge one million square foot facility.

McCloud’s Services District contractually agreed. It did so secretly. No public input was allowed. Completion would have given Nestle control of McCloud’s water for 100 years.

It would have gotten it for virtually nothing. It operates the same way everywhere. It’s no good neighbor. Plunder is its bottom line priority.

It interfered in local McCould elections. It funded campaigns of pro-company candidates. It bought their support. It intimidated opponents. It harassed them.

It “had their legal hit squad subpoena (their) private financial records.”

It failed. Justice prevailed. In 2009, it abandoned plans to build in McCloud. It chose Sacramento instead.

Nestle sued Fryeburg, ME five times. Doing so tried to litigate it into insolvency. It sought the right to steal its aquifer water. It wanted it by default.

Corporate predators operate this way. Nestle’s size and financial clout make it formidable.

Fryeburg’s planning commission and citizens contested courageously. They opposed Nestle’s proposed 24/7 water pumping station. They faced long odds.

In return for intrusiveness, bullying, litigiousness, congestion, noise and pollution, Nestle offered townspeople virtually nothing. It contested them up to Maine’s Supreme Court.

In March 2010, it prevailed. It won the right to build a water pumping station. It did so despite overwhelming public opposition. It’s empowered to steal Fryeburg’s water.

Western Maine Residents for Rural Living attorney Scott Anderson fought a losing battle. Nestle gets water from around two dozen wells. They’re located in eight Maine communities.

It’s bottling plants operate in Hollis, Poland Spring and Kingfield. It bears repeating. Nestle’s no good neighbor. It’s a corporate predator writ large.

According to Stop Nestle Waters.org, its “transgressions against rural communities and watersheds include communities from the Northwest, Michigan, Maine, Florida and Canada.”

It profits by stealing their water. It usually gets what it wants. It does so by bribing and/or bullying local politicians. Other times, it prevails litigiously.

Not always. It failed in McCloud. Enumclaw, WA and Kennebunk, ME “summarily kicked (it) out of” their communities. It’s not going quietly into the night.

Stealing water for virtually nothing is too profitable to abandon. Nestle pursues every way possible to do it.

Stop Nestle Waters.org uses “community-building powers of the Internet to counter Nestle’s big-dollar PR/legal/marketing legions.”

It wants communities across America in control of their own water. It wants Nestle and other water predators kept out.

In March 2012, Marseille, France hosted two international forums on water issues.

On March 16, 2012, Public Services International headlined “The resounding message from people’s world water forum: Reclaim public water!”

The World Water Council promotes privatization. An Alternative World Water Forum opposes its agenda.
It focuses on water as a human right. It’s a common good. It belongs to everyone. It’s not a commodity for sale.

It supports establishing universal legal standards. It wants them in place to prevent corporate water predators from stealing public water.

It wants water free from corporate exploitation. It’s an essential to life resource.

The Transnational Institute (TNI) promotes water justice. It says “(t)he 1990s witnessed an ideologically-driven global push for water privatisation that failed to deliver promised investments and pushed prices beyond the reach of the poorest.”

“Water Justice believes it is critical to refocus the global water debate on the key (issue): how to improve and expand public water delivery around the world.”

It facilitates reclaiming water as a public resource. It does so by working with “an international network of civil society activists, trade unionists, academics, as well as water utility managers and engineers.”

Together they promote people-centred democratic public water servicesAdvocates and facilitate public-public partnerships (PUPs).”

They represent “civil society’s voice in the UN’s Global Water Operators Partnerships Alliance (GWOPA).”

The struggle to control world water pits communities and ordinary people against giant corporate predators.

At stake is what’s essential to human life. It bears repeating. Water belongs to everyone. It’s a universal right.

It’s not the private domain of predators to exploit. Doing so is “ecological terrorism.”

The struggle for water continues. It’s a life sustaining resource too important to lose.

Fluoridegate - the film that will absolutely obliterate any remaining credibility of chemical fluoride pushers

© Fluoridegate An American Tragedy
Fluoridegate - the film that will absolutely obliterate any remaining credibility of chemical fluoride pushers
Jan 30, 2013 | Ethan A. Huff

(NaturalNews) Have you ever wondered why most major municipal water utilities across America continue to artificially fluoridate public water supplies when inexpensive fluoride toothpastes are readily available for those who choose to use them? Or why governments and medical groups continue to force fluoridated tap water on the public in spite of the fact that it has many known and proven health risks? These and many other pertinent questions find their answers in the hard-hitting documentary Fluoridegate: An American Tragedy, one of the most powerful documentaries ever made about the fluoride fraud.

A sordid narrative that recaps the dirty history of fluoride and how it came to be an officially recommended water additive, Fluoridegate delves deep into the completely unscientific and blatantly corrupt process by which the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) forced fluoride onto the public via the National Program for Water Fluoridation. The film also exposes how Dr. William Marcus, a now-retired senior scientist at the EPA, was targeted and fired for leaking critical information back in the 1990s about the many dangers of fluoride, none of which were being publicly shared in accordance with the EPA's mission and purpose.

"Exposing a child to (fluoride) chemicals in the first six years of life ... will harm that child's learning capability, self control, and have effects on his brain function that are lifelong," explains Dr. Roger D. Masters, Ph.D., Professor Emeritus at Dartmouth College about the fluoride scam. "To permit that to happen when you know it's happening, and not to interfere by stopping the use of something like silicofluoride, which makes it worse, is immoral."

You can access the film for FREE here: http://www.fluoridegate.com/

Fluoride whistleblowers targeted for bringing truth to light

Concerning Dr. Marcus, his honest work in evaluating the effects of fluoride on human health, and in recommending that the issue of water fluoridation be investigated further, were never taken seriously by his superiors, who ultimately had him fired. And this pattern of corruption is persistent throughout fluoride's ignominious history in the U.S., representing the true impetus behind its continued use and recommendation by many public health officials today.

"[Dr. Marcus] had recommended additional research be conducted within the [EPA] to make sure that the amount of fluoride that was added to drinking water was safe. And he showed me other documents that indicated that the agency was very upset with him for this recommendation, and had initiated a campaign to fire him," explains Stephen M. Kohn of the National Whistleblowers Association (NWA) about the persecution Dr. Marcus received from the EPA for simply trying to do his job.

"This document was properly prepared within the context of his job as a Senior Science Advisor, meaning the highest level scientist within EPA who's non-supervisory. He's [essentially] the guru scientist you go to for the tough issues. And Dr. Marcus reviewed the literature, reviewed the materials before him, and set forth basic scientific facts in this document to his supervisors and said, 'We need to study this matter because if fluoride does pose a health risk, we have to monitor how much we put in the drinking water, or if we should put in any at all.'"

Fluoride as forced medication on a non-consenting public

In other words, key public figures who should have supported Dr. Marcus' efforts to protect public health instead retaliated against him by launching a sinister campaign to get him fired. These crooks not only succeeded in destroying Dr. Marcus' career through lies and deception, but they also paved the way for the fluoride agenda to continue onward without obstruction.

Since that time, many other fluoride whistleblowers have come forward with the truth -- and some progress has been made in removing the toxic chemical from public water supplies. But there is still considerable work to be done by those who know the truth about fluoride, as fluoride advocates continue to spread lies and misinformation in order to perpetuate the scam.

"This is forced medication of the public, because the government says so," explains Peter F. Vallone, an outspoken New York City councilman who is currently working on removing fluoride from New York City's public water supply. "What's next, they don't think we're happy enough so they put some Xanax in our water supply because they're allowed to, because they're the government? It's outrageous."

Fluoridegate is packed with powerful testimonies from other key insiders privy to how fluoride became an integral part of water treatment policy, and how the public was manipulated into accepting this forced medication in the name of preventing tooth decay. And the best part is that the film is completely FREE to watch, as its creator, the distinguished Dr. David Kennedy, actually encourages people to share it with their friends and circles of influence.

"It's not just children who are affected -- everyone is affected," adds Dr. Yolanda Whyte, M.D., a pediatrician who opposes water fluoridation. "Even for unborn children, fluoride can cross the placenta and it can cross the blood-brain barrier. And when it does that, it can lower I.Q., and even affect other neuro-developmental outcomes, so this is very serious."

Fluoride Linked to #1 Cause of Death in New Research

© Natural Society
Jan. 17, 2012: Fluoride Linked to #1 Cause of Death in New Research by Anthony Gucciardi

Groundbreaking new research has linked sodium fluoride to cardiovascular disease, the leading cause of death worldwide. Researchers found that fluoride consumption directly stimulates the hardening of your arteries, a condition known as atherosclerosis that is highly correlated with the #1 killer. Sodium fluoride is currently added to the water supply of many cities worldwide, despite extreme opposition from health professionals and previous studies linking it to decreased IQ and infertility.

In their research, scientists examined the relationship between fluoride intake and the hardening (calcification) of the arteries. Studying more than 60 patients, the researchers found a significant correlation between fluoride consumption and the calcification of your arteries. Published in the January edition of the journal Nuclear Medicine Communications, the research highlights the fact that mass fluoride exposure may be to blame for the cardiovascular disease epidemic that takes more lives each year than cancer.

Research: Common Food Items Could Contain 180 Times More Fluoride Than Tap Water

Common Food Items Could Contain 180 Times More Fluoride Than Tap Water by Anthony Gucciardi

Fluoridated tap water and toothpaste are oftentimes considered the main sources of fluoride exposure, but it turns out that common food items could also be largely contributing to your fluoride intake.

According to fluoride expert, Jeff Green, who has been actively protesting and studying the effects of fluoride on the body for other 15 years, one common food product contains up to 180 times more fluoride than your fluoridated tap water!

Ad
According to Green, the culprit is non-organic food, but not just one kind.

If you’re still eating conventionally-farmed food products, you may be unknowingly exposing yourself to extreme levels of fluoride. Green says this is made possible by fluoride going incognito within the food supply in a very concerning way:
'Cryolite is actually sodium aluminum fluoride… This sodium aluminum fluoride is especially effective at killing bugs,' Green says. 'It’s also very sticky, so when they spray it, it’s more likely to stick on your produce, unless you’re… really working at trying to get it off of it.'
Fluoride-Based Pesticide Contaminating Food Staples

While Green states that a large number of non-organic produce items can contain shocking levels of this fluoride-based pesticide, iceberg lettuce may be one of the largest offenders. In fact, iceberg lettuce can now be laced with a startling 180 parts per million (ppm) of fluoride – 180 times higher than the ‘recommended’ water fluoridation level. This ‘health’ food could actually be corroding your body with heavy levels of fluoride. But what other seemingly-healthy produce items contain high amounts of fluoride?

  • Citrus fruits are actually allowed to contain 95 ppm of sodium fluoride.
  • Potatoes can have as much as 22 ppm on the outside, and 2 ppm inside.
  • Raisins are allowed 55 ppm.
Fluoride has been linked to decreased IQ in children, and even the United States government is calling for lower levels of fluoride to be added to United States water supplies.

Perhaps the next big hurdle in the fight against fluoride will be within the food industry.
