Are Experimental Vaccines Growing in a GMO Corn Field Near You?

Health Impact News | Sep 8, 2014

With more and more people waking up to the dangers and false claims being made for vaccines today, it is becoming more difficult for the pharmaceutical lobbyists to enact mandatory vaccination laws at the local level. A recent bill in Colorado was defeated when citizens turned out to oppose legislation that would have prohibited vaccine exemptions.

Are pharmaceutical companies now looking for new ways to market their vaccines that bypass the freedom to choose completely without the consumer even realizing they are consuming their products? The chemical industry, after all, has been successful for years in getting municipalities to put fluoride in public water supplies completely bypassing consumer choice.

Recently obtained information through a Freedom of Information Act request shows that pharmaceutical companies and biotech are teaming up to produce genetically modified corn that will contain vaccines like hepatitis B. If successful, “mandatory vaccines” could take on a whole new meaning in the United States.

Bill Lambrecht of the San Francisco Gate is reporting today that there are secret locations along California’s Central Coast where plots of experimental genetically engineered corn are producing proteins for industrial and pharmaceutical uses, including an experimental vaccine for hepatitis B.

The GMO test plots are part of a trial conducted by Applied Biotechnology. Lambrecht reports that details of Applied Biotechnology’s inspections and hundreds of other secret GMO field trials were obtained by Hearst Newspapers under Freedom of Information laws. The Hearst Family has several thousands of acres of land in central California, including the Hearst Castle, which is a museum today. Much of the land is used for grazing grass-fed beef, as central California is well-known for its sustainable organic agriculture.
Lambrecht’s report is quite concerning, as it shows the experimental GMO corn is growing with federal approval 100 feet from a steelhead stream in San Luis Obispo County, and in a designated critical habitat for wildlife such as the threatened California red-legged frog. He reports that the Agriculture Department inspectors have reported two “incidents” at the site, including conventional corn sprouting in a 50-foot fallow zone, but that the findings did not even result in a fine or warning for Applied Biotechnology Institute Inc.

The report also shows that the founder and president of Applied Biotechnology has had a troubled past in experimental GMO corn field trials:

The founder and president of Applied Biotechnology, John A. Howard, previously founded another company that was permanently banned from trials of genetically modified organisms – GMOs – after creating such contaminated messes in the Midwest that a half-million bushels of soybeans and more than 150 acres of corn had to be destroyed.

Before starting Applied Biotechnology Institute in California, Howard set up ProdiGene Inc. of College Station, Texas, in the late 1990s and carried the title of chief scientific officer.

But that company encountered such contamination problems with its APHIS-approved field trials that the Agriculture Department eventually forced it out of the business of growing pharmaceutical plants.

In 2002 – the year Howard says he parted ways with ProdiGene – APHIS disclosed that corn plants from ProdiGene’s field test a year earlier in Nebraska were sprouting in a field of soybeans planted at the site. But before the corn could be removed, the potentially contaminated soybeans were harvested. All 500,000 bushels had to be destroyed.

Also in 2002, ProdiGene was forced to burn 155 acres of corn near the site of a field trial in Iowa after pharmaceutical plants were found growing illegally. ProdiGene was fined $250,000.

In addition, the Agriculture Department purchased, hauled and destroyed the adulterated soybeans at a cost of $3.5 million, and gave ProdiGene two years interest-free to pay the government back.

ProdiGene’s problems persisted. In 2004, an inspector found that oats growing alongside one of the company’s test corn sites in Nebraska had been baled for animal feed. In addition, engineered corn was sprouting in a nearby sorghum field.

It took three years, but this time, APHIS came down hard. In 2007, ProdiGene received a modest $3,500 fine but agreed that neither it nor “its successors in interest” would ever again apply to the Agriculture Department for permission to introduce GMOs into the environment. (Source.)

So why is this guy allowed to continue to experiment with GMO corn? Apparently, he believes that because he is involved in vaccine research, it shields him from much of the current criticism surrounding GMO technology. Lambrecht writes:
He believes that his quest to produce a hepatitis B vaccine insulates him from some of the opposition to genetically modified foods.

“It’s harder to make up some Frankenstein scenario where this is terrible when the outcome of not doing it is that people die,” he said.
So once again, we see “science” replaced with blind faith, in this case faith in the religion of vaccines, trumping the freedom to choose: freedom to choose one’s own faith, one’s own health choices, and one’s own food choices.

Read the full article here, which contains quite a bit more information about how the federal government has very little oversight over these GMO field trials.

Our Alarming Food Future, Explained in 7 Charts

Mother Jones | May 7, 2014 | Tom Philpott

Earlier this year, President Obama signed a bill into law that will essentially preserve the status quo of US agriculture for the next half decade. Known as the farm bill, the once-every-five-years legislation (among other things it does) shapes the basic incentive structure for the farmers who specialize in the big commodity crops: corn, soybeans, wheat, and rice. This year's model, like the several before it, provides generous subsidies (mostly through cut-rate insurance) for all-out production of these crops (especially corn and soy), while also slashing already-underfunded programs that encourage farmers to protect soil and water.

As I put it in a post at the time, the legislation was simply not ready for climate change. How not ready? A just-released, wide-ranging new federal report called the National Climate Assessment has answers. A collaborative project led by 13 federal agencies and five years in the making, the assessment is available for browsing on a very user-friendly website. Here's what I gleaned on the challenges to agriculture posed by climate change:

Iowa is hemorrhaging soil. A while back, I wrote about Iowa's quiet soil crisis. When heavy rains strike bare corn and soy fields in the spring, huge amounts of topsoil wash away. Known as "gully erosion," this kind of soil loss currently isn't counted in the US Department of Agriculture's rosy erosion numbers, which hold that Iowa's soils are holding steady. But Richard Cruse, an agronomist and the director of Iowa State University's Iowa Water Center, has found Iowa's soils are currently disappearing at a rate as much as 16 times faster than the natural regeneration. According to the National Assessment, days of heavy rain have increased steadily in Iowa over the past two decades, and will continue doing so.

National Climate Assessment

But dry spells are on the rise, too.
In spring 2013, Iowa experienced its wettest spring ever, with storms that washed away titanic amounts of topsoil. The previous summer, it underwent its most severe drought in generations. Such gyrations can be expected to continue. This map shows the predicted increase in the maximum number of consecutive dry days, comparing the 1971-2000 period to projections for 2070-90. The worst-hit regions will be in the West—more on that below—but key corn-growing states like Illinois and Indiana take their lumps, too.

National Climate Assessment

Crop yields will decline. All the carbon we've been spewing into the atmosphere over the past century and a half has so far probably helped crop yields—plants need freely available carbon dioxide, after all. But as the climate warms, that effect gets increasingly drowned out by heat stress, drought, and flood. And now, the Midwest is expected to see sharply higher average temperatures as well as days above 95 degrees Fahrenheit. This chart compares the region's average temps in the 1971-2000 period to those expected between 2041 and 2070.

And higher temperatures correlate to reduced crop yields—as this chart, comparing yields and maximum temperature data in Illinois and Indiana between 1980 and 2007, shows.

National Climate Assessment

California, our vegetable basket, will be strapped for irrigation water. California is locked in a severe drought. I recently noted that farmers in the state's main growing region, the Central Valley, are responding by rapidly drawing down underground water stores to keep their crops irrigated. The main driver: Farmers count on snow melt from the Sierra Nevada mountains to supply the state's vast irrigation networks—and this year, the snows barely came. According to the report, as the weather warms up, they—and other farms in the Southwest—can expect much less snow going forward.

National Climate Assessment

And even if they can get enough water, heat stress and other climate effects will likely knock down yields of some crops. Different crops respond to higher temperatures in different ways. This chart projects yields for Central Valley crops under two scenarios—one in which greenhouse gas emissions continue rising, the other if we manage to reduce emissions. Crucially, these projections are based on the assumption that "adequate water supplies (soil moisture)" will be maintained—a precarious assumption.

National Climate Assessment

Wine grapes, nuts, and other perennial California crops will be hard-hit. In order to thrive, crops like fruit and nuts need a certain number of chilling hours each winter—that is, periods when temperatures range between 32°F and 50°F. Bad news: A warming climate means fewer cold snaps. The maps below show changes in chilling hours in the Central Valley in 1950, 2000, and a prediction for 2050 if current trends hold (the greener, the more chilling

National Climate Assessment
Overall, the report states, "the number of chilling hours is projected to decline by 30 percent to 60 percent by 2050 and by up to 80 percent by 2100." Worse, the "area capable of consistently producing grapes required for the highest-quality wines is projected to decline by more than 50 percent by late this century." It's enough to make you want to uncork a bottle, while you still have a chance.

David Talbott: Exposing the Myths of "Settled Science"

Thunderbolts Project | Aug 9, 2013 | David Talbott

Wal Thornhill and Dave Talbott will each give two thought-provoking presentations at EU2014 Conference: All About Evidence, Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA, March 20 - 24, 2014. For more information on all the speakers start here:

Is it possible that the foundational assumptions of the theoretical sciences all express a common misunderstanding? From cosmology, the "queen of the sciences," a core dogma of the 20th century filtered down through every discipline, constraining our ideas about galaxy and star formation and ultimately (from the same underlying assumptions) all of the space sciences, infecting our views of earth history and even our sense of what it means to be human. The core dogma was the idea that gravity alone, seen through the lens of general relativity, rules the cosmos. Dispelling this most common misconception has become the essential requirement for scientific progress, since all of the new evidence makes clear that we live in an Electric Universe.

David Talbott presented this talk at the annual meeting of the Natural Philosophy Alliance, University of Maryland, July 10-13, 2013. Part Two of the talk will be given at the upcoming The Thunderbolts Project(TM) conference (Electric Universe 2014: All About Evidence) March 20-24, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP): Assault on Our Sovereignty, Our Constitution, Our Liberty (Video)

Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP): Assault on Our Sovereignty, Our Constitution, Our Liberty (Video)
Dec 19, 2013 | The new American | William F. Jasper

Over the past couple of years, The New American has presented many articles, including a special “Free Trade Agenda” issue of the print publication (PDF), exposing the dangers of the Trans-Pacific Partnership, or TPP. It is a regional trade agreement aimed at integrating the economic, legal, and political systems of Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, Vietnam — and the United States. As such, it proposes a radical, unconstitutional transformation of our republic and of the entire governing structure of our nation.

The architects of the TPP admit that they plan to expand the outrageous ambitions of the TPP to an even larger group of nations, which they have dubbed the Free Trade Area of the Asia Pacific (FTAAP). The Peterson Institute for International Economics is one of the premier globalist think tanks and a key promoter of the TPP. A Peterson Institute study states that “the TPP is regarded as an interim arrangement or stepping stone toward a broader, regionwide Free Trade Area of the Asia Pacific.”

The TPP and FTAAP promoters are consciously using the same formula of lies, deception and subversion that globalist leaders in Europe have been employing for decades to convert formerly independent nations into obedient “member states” of the European Union.

The TPP, if accepted, will transfer increasing legislative, executive and judicial powers to regional entities, and to the World Trade Organization, which claims ultimate jurisdiction over all matters covered by the agreement.

And what kind of matters are those?

Since all negotiations have been held in secrecy, we can only report on the issues the U.S. Trade Representative’s office admits the TPP covers, which include: customs, telecommunications, investment services, technical barriers to trade, sanitary and phytosanitary measures, intellectual property, regulatory coherence, development, non-conforming measures and cross-border trade in services, rules of origin, competition, agriculture, textiles, and environment.

One can only speculate the consequences when surrendering sovereignty on any of these important issues.

Wikileaks, an Internet whistleblower site, leaked one chapter of the text in late 2013. It showed the dangers the TPP presents to alternative, independent media and the right of citizens to communicate via the Internet.

The TPP would, in effect implement the anti-freedom measures of two badly misnamed bills that failed to pass Congress: the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) and the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA). These bills would have drastically affected Internet freedom, allowing virtually anyaone — but especially the ruling powers — to stop publication of anything they find objectionable by claiming copyright infringement.

My colleague at The New American, constitutional attorney Joe Wolverton, points out that “such procedures bypass the U.S. court system and the Constitution by abolishing the due process owed to those accused of crimes.” And notes Wolverton, “The TPP is an attack on our laws, our courts, our freedom of expression, our Constitution, and our sovereignty.”

Contact your representatives now to stop the Trans-Pacific Partnership, and see the additional articles listed below that we’ve published detailing the dangers of the TPP.

United Nations: The Perversion of a Good Intention

United Nations: The Perversion of a Good Intention
Sept 15, 2013 | News Junkie Post | Dady Chery
"Over the last 20 years or so of UN “peacekeeping,” the crimes of UN soldiers have included gunrunning, trading food for sex, cholera contamination, human trafficking, child prostitution, rape, and murders of all sorts. What makes UN “peacekeeping” so attractive to psychopaths is that it gives them complete license to commit the most egregious crimes."
Once upon a time, the United Nations was held up as a beacon of moral authority and hope for world peace. That was long before the UN formally became a criminal organization. The Dutch Supreme Court ruled on September 6, 2013, in the Hasan Nuhanovic case, that UN personnel called “Dutchbat”, under the authority of the Dutch State, have violated the rights of three Bosnian Muslims to life and protection from inhuman treatment and must make reparations for this crime.

The UN has fallen quite short of the original vision of Eleanor Roosevelt and others to create a forum in which disputes between countries might be peacefully resolved. Back when the UN was created, the West was gasping from the mass slaughter of Europeans in two World Wars; furthermore, while the colonial powers were preoccupied with each other, much of the world had seized the opportunity to gain independence. This should never happen again, everyone agreed, but instead of a body that enforces international law equally for all nations, we got the Security Council: an elite group with veto power made up of those countries that had committed the most violations against the principles of the UN Charter.

The Third Florida Mayor Busted For Corruption This Month Is Steven Bateman of Homestead

The Third Florida Mayor Busted For Corruption This Month Is Steven Bateman of Homestead
Aug 29, 2013 | Opposing Views | Jonathan Vankin

August is a bad month to be a mayor, at least in Florida. Not one, not two, but three chief executives of Sunshine State municipalities were led away in handcuffs in just the past three weeks, arrested on various corruption charges.

The latest entry in this hit parade is Steven Bateman, mayor since 2009 of Homestead, a Miami suburb of about 60,000 inhabitants. Bateman was arrested Wednesday on charges that he secretly took a $125 per hour consulting position with a health care company that was doing business with the city.
Bateman helped Community Health Care of South Florida, Inc., known as CHI, in efforts to get permits for a new clinic in Homestead, at the same time he was on the firm’s payroll, prosecutors say.

Bateman, 58, appeared in court yesterday (see photo) and was released on $21,500 bail posted by his wife.

The Bateman bust comes on the heels of an FBI sting operation that on Aug. 6 nabbed the mayors of Sweetwater and Miami Lakes taking suitcases and envelopes stuffed with cash. Federal prosecutors allege that the two mayors, Manuel Maroño, 41, of Sweetwater and Michael Pizzi, 51, of Miami Lakes, not only took bribes in exchange for helping businesses apply for federal grants, but they plotted together to siphon off a share of the grant money for themselves.

While those two mayors suffered the humiliation of being arrested at their mayoral offices, state law enforcement officials showed up at Bateman’s home yesterday, where he refused to answer the door for 20 minutes. When Bateman’s wife came home and entered the house, police were able to get inside and put the mayor in bracelets.

Bateman’s lawyer said he was taking a shower.

These sordid scenes are nothing new for the state of Florida. From 2000-2010, no state saw more public officials convicted on corruption charges, according Justice Department data cited in a study by the nonpartisan research group Integrity Florida.

Psychopaths: US Border Patrol agent won’t be charged over killing Mexican youth
Aug 10, 2013 | RT

US authorities will not bring charges against a US Border Patrol agent who shot dead a Mexican youth suspected of drug trafficking right through the fence insulating the US from Mexico as the Justice Department "lacks jurisdiction" to do it.

US federal authorities announced on Friday that the decision was based on “the facts developed during an independent and comprehensive investigation.” The US Justice Department officials in Washington insist investigators revealed no facts to support federal prosecution for any federal criminal charge.

The incident took place on January 5, 2011, when 17-year-old Ramses Barron-Torres was fatally wounded with a single shot in an early morning incident at the US-Mexico border fence in Arizona's largest international border town of Nogales.

Border Patrol received a report about drugs being moved across the border. On arrival they pinpointed a man carrying a bundle with alleged drugs who made an escape attempt while his withdrawal was covered by four people who pelted agents with stones from Mexican territory, forcing the agents to take cover.

According to the agents’ report they ordered the stone throwers to stop in Spanish, but one of them, Ramses Barron-Torres, continued with the barrage, so law enforcement simply shot him through the border fence once.

On Friday the US Justice Department officials announced no sufficient evidence has been found to prove this was not self-defense, as claimed by Border Patrol agent.

Comment: Where did the idea that carrying a gun is also automatically a right to kill someone for any reason? The first interrogative question that should have been asked was, "why did you not shoot at the ground to warn the aggressor who obviously was not life threatening"? With that in mind, one can easily determine that the border patrol is using force as a reason for killing without considering their true actions are clearly showing forms of psychopathology.

Besides that, the US authorities also claim lack of jurisdiction to prosecute the agent because the young man was killed on Mexican side of the border.

The US federal criminal civil-rights statute "requires that the victim be in the United States when he was injured" to prosecute the agent, US authorities said Friday.

At the same time the US authorities addressed another fatal incident that took place in 2011 and also involved stone throwing.

Carlos LaMadrid, 19, was shot with four bullets in Arizona’s border town of Douglas on March 21, 2011, and died several hours later in hospital undergoing surgery.

According to Douglas police, LaMadrid was observed loading bundles of drugs into a vehicle and was pursued to the border fence by officers refusing to stop. Having arrived at the border, LaMadrid allegedly jumped out of the car and attempted to escape using a ladder propped against the border fence, while another man was stoning Border Patrol agents with ‘brick-size’ stones, eventually shattering the windshield of the patrol vehicle.

Though no agent was hurt, they returned fire with lethal force ‘regrettably’ killing a suspect.

The agents claim they made five shots at the unidentified man throwing stones, but because LaMadrid happened to be on the firing line, he was wounded with four bullets and died. US federal authorities ruled the agents were acting in self-defense.

The names of the agents involved in both deadly shootings have never been revealed for security reasons.

The Investigative Fund at The Nation Institute reports of at least 10 incidents in the past five years when the US border agents fired into Mexican territory, eventually killing six Mexicans.

Strangling the City: How ‘Sustainable’ is Boxing in Freedom

Strangling the City: How ‘Sustainable’ is Boxing in Freedom
July 26, 2013 | TruthStream Media / Aaron Dykes

Is the city building up or closing in?

At least in Austin, it is thus: The city is moving in all around us; but look carefully, those amenities are boxing us in, not setting us free.

We made some comments about the Texas capital’s heavy dose of Agenda 21 in this mostly informal video that shows some of the city’s recent development:

So goes the nation, or is this just our local issue? By the appearances of America2050.org (driven by the Regional Plan Association and funded by both the Rockefeller Foundation and Ford Foundation) effort to create densely populated Megaregions across the country, I would wager the answer to be ‘yes.’ The plan would essentially double the population of existing metropolitan areas.

The federal Housing and Urban Development (HUD) grants given to local communities, in turn partnered with the Dept. of Traffic and EPA, correspond with this agenda.

“Sustainability” is one of the key phrases used to justify this huge consolidation, not just of populations, but of power. But who elected regional planners to redesign the nation? No one, that’s who.

In Central Texas, vast authority was handed over to an organization called CAPCOG, the Capital Area Council of Governments, which is comprised of appointed leaders and which overseas a number of key development projects related to transportation, housing, zoning, economic re-development and etc. Similar organizations – lacking elected leaders, sufficient accountability or even general public awareness – exist across the nation.

As Melissa Melton previously reported, for Austin, as in other locales, this includes implementation of the “smart grid,” the adoption of international building codes, control over thermostat data, greater emphasis on mixed-use building structures, more multifamily units, and the like.

As a growing metropolitan city, Austin stands out as a prime example, in fact. Not only has Austin received HUD Sustainable Communities grants, but it has been designated by ICLEI-Local Governments for Sustainability USA (who have been integral since 1992 in the implementation of the United Nations’ Agenda 21 goals) as one of ten STAR Beta Communities across the United States. Emblematic of this is the Mueller Community, which has been developed by regional planners to incorporate the sanitized, vision of a ‘sustainable urban’ Stepford Wives lifestyle in an ‘advanced smart grid’ model.

Unlike the East Coast, Texas is mostly new to super dense population zones. While buses exist, trains are sparse even in Houston and Dallas, and few are accustomed to mass transportation as a way of life. But with the politically shady imposition of toll roads, light rail (a taxpayer funded inner-city rail scheme) and an attempt to link urban living with “emerging Megaregions” like the “Texas Triangle,” that is changing.

For years, I passed by the Plaza Saltillo Metro Rail stop just a few blocks East of the famed 6th Street downtown area vibrant with the city’s night life and plenty of intoxicated patrons who could probably use a lift. But never have I seen anyone waiting at that rail station, day or night. And over the course of years, I never spotted the actual train – not once. Did it even exist?

I never got a direct answer to that rhetorical question floating around in my head, but I was delayed in my (rather despicable) automobile travel activities by a related end just a few weeks ago.

It was rush hour on North Lamar, and things were already busy and stressful on the road. The rail road barriers came down and things came to grinding halt. I assumed a freight train was hauling through and I wondered how many cars it would be and how long it would take. Instead, for a solid two or three minutes nothing at all came by.

Still the barriers impeded the busy flow of traffic. But nothing. It was another minute, maybe even two before the train finally crossed over what is a major road through the city of Austin.

When it finally came, the train was not a freighter hauling industrial products or commercial goods, but a two car metro rail ‘train’. Little had I noticed that over in the corner was a station dubbed Crestview, officially ‘west of Lamar between Justin St. and St. John’s Ave.’ And as surely as I was eager to get moving on those taxpayer roads, I realized that no one – not a soul – was visibly in that train. Not one passenger, yet the metro rail stop had blocked hundreds of cars for a full 4 or maybe even 5 minutes.

Is that outrageous? Or just what Texans can expect to face in coming years, along with higher taxes to cover new infrastructure and a fresh push for more trains and toll roads (encircling cities like Austin and typically built on top of, or taking over, taxpayer-funded roads), alongside the literal rise of dozens of new skyscrapers, and more and more “mixed use” buildings that include trendy shops, overpriced condos short on floor space, and a growing population of metro-minded dupes.

Subways and trains make plenty of sense in New York City and other East Coast metro areas, and quite a few European cities I’ve visited, however briefly. But this kind of transition in Texas and other areas of heartland America will not come without significant growing pains, plenty of cost, and a drastic but understated loss of sovereignty.

It is already being reported that California’s high speed rail is ‘collapsing’ under the strain of corruption. At a minimum, it is burdening West Coast dwellers with the high cost of graft and over-budgeted boondoggles.

Again, all this ‘concentrated growth’ is sold in the name of “sustainability” or protecting the environment. But consider for one moment what would happen in the event of economic collapse, civil unrest, food shortages, natural disasters/terror attacks, or even temporary shortages (for whatever reason). The biggest cities in the country would quickly become the worst possible places to be. Statistically, the average home only holds a few days worth of food before they run out, while grocery stores hold only a three or four days worth of food. Electricity outages or the like could potentially cause panic even quicker than food.

Without going into all the details, that picture should get across one simple concept: an urban zone like this is not “sustainable” in any real sense.

That kind of sustainability is a myth.

Ancient City of Angkor Much Bigger Than Thought

Ancient City of Angkor Much Bigger Than Thought
July 8, 2013 | Live Science | Tia Ghose

Angkor, the ancient capital of the Khmer Empire, has been mapped for the first time using laser light.
The technique called LIDAR, which uses billions of reflected light beams to map the topography below a thick forest canopy, revealed that the city was even more massive than previously thought.

The new analysis "shows there were hundreds, if not thousands of settlements, mounds, ponds, roads and urban blocks which actually organized a quite dense city," said study co-author Christophe Pottier, an archaeologist and co-director of the Greater Angkor Project. "This area of dense occupation was much bigger than what we were expecting." [See Images of Angkor Wat, New Temple City]

The findings were published today (July 8) in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

Ancient empire

Angkor is located in modern-day Cambodia, and for several centuries, was the capital city of the Khmer Empire. The city and its surrounding areas may have housed up to 1 million people and, at its height, was considered the largest city in the world. Angkor flourished until the 15th century, when it was mysteriously abandoned. The crown jewel of the complex, Angkor Wat, is a temple built between A.D. 1113 and 1150 that rises 213 feet (65 meters) into the air and spans 500 acres (200 hectares).

After the city was abandoned, the jungle took over, covering the area in a thick canopy of vegetation. In the past, researchers had tried to study its extent using radar and satellite images. But much of the ancient city's footprint remained hidden.

In 2012, Pottier and his colleagues began mapping the terrain using airborne laser scanning, or LIDAR.  The team used a helicopter and sent out billions of beams of laser light that were able to pass through the tiny spaces between dense jungle canopy to hit the earth below. The reflected beams were then analyzed to determine whether the light bounced off leaves, soil or other features.

The LIDAR uncovered hundreds of bumps on the landscape that ancient inhabitants formed when moving earth to build dikes, dams, huge reservoirs, canals, family ponds and roads. The new map reveals that the city made heavy use of cultivation and water-storing techniques. (Scientists recently discovered a lost Khmer city known only from inscriptions using the same technology.)

In addition, the city's dense core was much larger than thought: about 27 square miles (70 square kilometers), Pottier said. The core alone may have housed 500,000 people, he added.

The new map also sheds light on why the city was abandoned. The city's economy depended on the network of intricate hydraulic systems. But those systems depended heavily on reliable monsoon rains, Pottier said. Other environmental studies have revealed that the monsoons became irregular during the14th and 15th centuries, he said.

That alone may not have caused Angkor's demise, but was probably a factor, Pottier said.

Amazon Jungle sees rise in deforestation: report
July 8, 2013 | Press TV

New data show an increase in the rate of deforestation of the Amazon Jungle, a trend nearing a full year’s reversal of progress in the fight against the destruction of the world's largest rainforest.

Satellite images showed 465 square kilometers (180 square miles) of deforestation taking place in May, an almost five-fold increase in forest loss relative to May 2012, Brazil's National Space Research Institute, INPE, stated in a report on Friday.

Brazil accounted for most of the clearing, with 59 percent of the loss in the southern state of Mato Grosso known for its industrial-sized farms and cattle ranching.

The study also revealed a 14-percent increase in deforestation compared to last year.

Scientists and environmentalists said the trend marks a reversal in gains against deforestation in Brazil, though other Amazon countries also witnessed a rise in deforestation since 2011.

The reason is unknown, but experts attribute the deforestation to government infrastructure projects, environmental policy, and a rise in demand for soybeans and other Brazilian farm exports, which encourage ranchers to clear private land in the Amazon.

The Amazon rainforest covers territory belonging to nine nations, with more than 60 percent located in Brazil, followed by Peru with 13 percent, Columbia with 10 percent, and minor amounts in Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia, Guyana, Suriname and French Guiana.

Nickola Tesla: Calling All Freethinkers, Part Three

Nicola Tesla in his 80s
Nickola Tesla: Calling All Freethinkers, Part Three
July 5, 2013 | Veterans Today | Rand Clifford

One thing seeming most reliable for seekers of truth about Nikola Tesla: 90% of available information is disinformation, or misinformation. What’s more, Tesla’s greatest triumph is not only forbidden information, fully reproducing Aether capture Tesla style can be a PSQ capitol offense. [1]

Tesla could annihilate the stranglehold thrown on humanity by the Power Status Quo (PSQ). He showed humanity how to transcend the PSQ’s paradigm of destructive energy; the PSQ has responded for over a century the only way they know how, more destruction.

Regarding the 90% figure: In 1983, fifty corporations owned 90% of Corporate Mainstream Media (CMM), controlling 90% of virtually every commercial thing Americans watched, heard, or read. By 2011, only six corporations controlled CMM—six monstrosities with a 90% monopoly. Those six corporations (and their primary instruments of brainwashing):

TIME WARNER (HBO, CNN, Warner Brothers, Time)

DISNEY (Miramax, ABC, ESPN, Marvel Studios, Pixar)

GE (NBC, Universal Pictures, Comcast, Focus Features)

VIACOM (MTV, CMT, Nick Jr., Paramount Pictures)

CBS (NFL.com, Showtime, Smithsonian Channel, 60 Minutes, Jeopardy)

NEWS-CORP (Fox, New York Post, Wall Street Journal)

PSQ tendrils wind through television and movies, books, newspapers and magazines, radio, music….

Less than 250 media executives control what is fed to vulnerable American minds. That’s a ratio of about one million minds for every one media executive. Perhaps the scariest aspect of this absolutely dehumanizing concentration of media power: The vulnerable can’t seem to get enough. And the vulnerability…it’s not unusual to see single-family homes with two or even three satellite TV dishes.

So few controlling so many…is humanity really outclassed a million to one?

A closeup of monopoly control of what Americans see, hear, read and think about is offered in “Put Option on America, Part Three” [2].

Don’t Think, Plug In

The PSQ might say: “Does it really matter where your power comes from? Why waste time thinking about that smart-metered umbilical juicing your home’s breaker box that juices outlets where you plug stuff in. Ignore the distribution lines with their ubiquitous gray transformers riding the forests of treated cedar poles. Pay no attention to those buzzing substations like spiders in their webs, juiced by transmission lines riding high-rise skeletal towers towering as far as the eye…don’t look.

“Juice is juice, power is power, and only fools waste time wondering where the juice comes from. Rest assured that really smart people have figured everything out. Don’t just trust them, thank them that you’re so lucky not only to be able to just plug stuff in—you even have the First Amendment protecting you’re right to grouse about your power bill without being branded a terrorist.

“Thank them for freedom….”

Public Enemy Number One

This W.C. Fields quote fingers a fundamental PSQ directive:

“Never smarten up a chump, and never give a sucker an even break.”

Incredibly, masses of people like to imagine that government is an advocate of the common good. GMOs, vaccines, water fluoridation, food additives, chemtrails, HAARP, fission reactors, maximum surveillance police state, FEMA, “Homeland Security” and more, plus many other kinds of what the PSQ calls “Silent Weapons for Quiet Wars” (SWQW). A document bearing that title has recently surfaced, including the designation: “Operations Research Technical Manual TM-SW7905.1 May 1979#74-1120″. [3] Any questions about the document’s authenticity seem answered by the obvious “Quiet War” being waged on the public—in the last place the public might look, right in their faces.

The PSQ (International Elite) quietly declared the Quiet War on the public at a meeting in 1954. The MASER (“Microwave Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation”) was invented in 1954, threatening the PSQ with the potential for fusion of heavy hydrogen in seawater, and subsequent unlimited public power. Within decades the public could’ve theoretically broken the PSQ’s power monopoly—as they could’ve with Tesla’s Aether breakthrough a century ago.

“Energy is recognized as the key to all activity on Earth,” reads the SWQW document. And, “All science is a means to an end. The means is knowledge. The end is control. Beyond this remains only one issue: Who will be the beneficiary?”

The common good will inevitably be out-thought by the psychopaths, and little if any actual benefits will trickle down. Lacking conscience has its advantages—or disadvantages—depending on the definition of advantage. Conscience is a jewel of humanity, a highest achievement locked in genetically. A minority pollutes the human genome with the lowest ebb of human evolution, psychopathy. Vulgar reptiles in wolves’ clothing with all but the best of humanity. Powers of havoc and exploitation of the psychopathic minority will drag humanity through war after war as long as there are powerful psychopaths.

In 1954 the PSQ agreed that “…a nation or world of people who will not use their intelligence are no better than animals who do not have intelligence. Such people are beasts of burden and steaks on the table by choice and consent.”

Some other telling quotes from the SWQW document:

“…in the interest of future world order, peace, and tranquility, [4] [5] it was decided to privately wage a quiet war against the American public with an ultimate objective of permanently shifting the natural and social energy (wealth) of the undisciplined and irresponsible many into the hands of the self-disciplined, responsible, and worthy few.”

“…the objective of economic research, as conducted by the magnates of capital (banking) and the industries of commodities (goods) and services, is the establishment of an economy which is totally predictable and manipulatable.”

“In order to achieve a totally predictable economy, the low-class elements of society must be brought under total control, i.e., must be housebroken, trained, and assigned a yoke and long-term social duties from a very early age, before they have an opportunity to question the propriety of the matter. In order to achieve such conformity, the lower-class family unit must be disintegrated by a process of increasing preoccupation of the parents and the establishment of government-operated day-care centers for the occupationally orphaned children.”

“The quality of education given to the lower class must be of the poorest sort, so that the moat of ignorance isolating the inferior class from the superior class is and remains incomprehensible to the inferior class. With such an initial handicap, even bright lower class individuals have little if any hope of extricating themselves from their assigned lot in life. This form of slavery is essential to maintain some measure of social order, peace, and tranquillity for the ruling upper class.”

“Since energy is the key to all activity on the face of the earth, it follows that in order to attain a monopoly of energy, raw materials, goods, and services and to establish a world system of slave labor, it is necessary to have a first strike capability in the field of economics. In order to maintain our position, it is necessary that we have absolute first knowledge of the science of control over all economic factors and the first experience at engineering the world economy.”

“Experience has proven that the simplest method of securing a silent weapon and gaining control of the public is to keep the public undisciplined and ignorant of the basic system principles on the one hand, while keeping them confused, disorganized, and distracted with matters of no real importance on the other hand.”
“This is achieved by:

— disengaging their minds; sabotaging their mental activities; providing a low-quality program of public education in mathematics, logic, systems design and economics; and discouraging technical creativity.

— engaging their emotions, increasing their self-indulgence and their indulgence in emotional and physical activities by: unrelenting emotional affrontations and attacks (mental and emotional rape) by way of constant barrage of sex, violence, and wars in the media – especially the T.V. and the newspapers. Giving them what they desire – in excess – “junk food for thought” – and depriving them of what they really need. Rewriting history and law and subjecting the public to the deviant creation, thus being able to shift their thinking from personal needs to highly fabricated outside priorities. These preclude their interest in and discovery of the silent weapons of social automation technology. The general rule is that there is a profit in confusion; the more confusion, the more profit. Therefore, the best approach is to create problems and then offer solutions.”
“Diversion Summary:

Media: Keep the adult public attention diverted away from the real social issues, and captivated by matters of no real importance.

Schools: Keep the young public ignorant of real mathematics, real economics, real law, and real history.
Entertainment: Keep the public entertainment below a sixth-grade level.

Work: Keep the public busy, busy, busy, with no time to think; back on the farm with the other animals.”

“The next step in the process of designing an economic amplifier is discovering the energy sources. The energy sources which support any primitive economic system are, of course, a supply of raw materials, and the consent of the people to labor and consequently assume a certain rank, position, level, or class in the social structure, i.e., to provide labor at various levels in the pecking order.”

“Each class, in guaranteeing its own level of income, controls the class immediately below it, hence preserves the class structure. This provides stability and security, but also government from the top.”

“As time goes on and communication and education improve, the lower-class elements of the social labor structure become knowledgeable and envious of the good things that the upper-class members have. They also begin to attain a knowledge of energy systems and the ability to enforce their rise through the class structure.

“This threatens the sovereignty of the elite.

“If this rise of the lower classes can be postponed long enough, the elite can achieve energy dominance, and labor by consent no longer will hold a position of an essential energy source.

“Until such energy dominance is absolutely established, the consent of people to labor and let others handle their affairs must be taken into consideration, since failure to do so could cause the people to interfere in the final transfer of energy sources to the control of the elite.”

“The primary reason why the individual citizens of a country create a political structure is a subconscious wish or desire to perpetuate their own dependency relationship of childhood. Simply put, they want a human god to eliminate all risk from their life, pat them on the head, kiss their bruises, put a chicken on every dinner table, clothe their bodies, tuck them into bed at night, and tell them that everything will be alright when they wake up in the morning.

“This public demand is incredible, so the human god, the politician, meets incredibility with incredibility by promising the world and delivering nothing. So who is the bigger liar? the public? or the “godfather”?

“This public behavior is surrender born of fear, laziness, and expediency. It is the basis of the welfare state as a strategic weapon, useful against a disgusting public.”

How interesting, their use of the term, “…a disgusting public.” The entire SWQW document is a blueprint for making the public ever more disgusting. For people inclined to think that anyone not of the PSQ is not an enemy of the PSQ—in other words, that the common good is anything but competition of the PSQ—reading of SWQW document is crucial. As for authenticity…please, simply look around and pay attention; authentication is everywhere.

Anything serving the“Common Good” is something taken away from the PSQ. It’s a zero sum game. If there’s any good going around, and it does not nourish PSQ power, it’s power that got away. Not only is the PSQ public enemy number one, the public is enemy number one of the PSQ. What stacks this situation in PSQ favor is their understanding of the situation, while the public hallucinates about government “…of the People, by the People, for the People.” The public can’t seem to fathom the evil of the PSQ, can’t even imagine having zero conscience. Meanwhile, the PSQ keeps the public so busy with defense that the public can rally no offense. The term, “For the good of humanity” is a joke diseased beyond humor, into the realm of epitaph.
“Power is the ultimate aphrodisiac,” and “The elderly are useless eaters.”
— Henry Kissinger (Nobel Peace Prize, 1973)

Sleep forever, Good of Humanity. We hardly knew you….

Fukushima: Ready to Fire

Right now, thanks to the PSQ, the single greatest non-WWIII threat to humanity is teetering 100 feet above the ground, propped up by jacks in a building crippled by hydrogen explosions. Fukushima Unit 4 is a nightmare so radioactive not even robots can work amid this menace targeting the entire northern hemisphere, and beyond.

1,535 nuclear-fission fuel rods (460 tons) are primed and ready to lose cooling, catch fire and explode with the next big earthquake in one of the world’s most earthquake-prone regions. It’s really not a question of if, but when hundreds of times the radiation unleashed at Chernobyl will be blasted into the environment. And the PSQ is doing nothing but blaring, “Don’t worry, be happy!”

Fukushima Dai-Ichi has some of the largest concentrations of radioactivity on the planet, a radionuclide gumbo spiced with extra cesium-137 and plutonium. Mega-generational mutation and death just waiting for the next big shaker to empty the pot.

The first nuclear power plants were built in the 1950s. As of April 2012, 430 reactors operating in 31 countries generate about 14% of the world’s commercial electricity. Add to that about 420 research and naval reactors, for a total of 850 atom-splitting, future-robbing, totally unnecessary immortal-waste generators. Plus, 60 more are under construction, and 150 more are “firmly planned”, for a total of 1,060 Satanic insults to the future of life on Earth. PSQ long-term planning in purely biocidal form. The PSQ obviously believes that without total control there can be no control. Reckless gambling with the very survival of the human race seems like total control, apparently the ultimate psychopath aphrodisiac. Perhaps rendering the planet uninhabitable is the only way to cleanse humanity of psychopathy? Kill the host, kill the parasite.

The Power of Tesla

Had Nikola Tesla been born a psychopath, there may have been no chance for humanity. Luck might be on our side, though every day, luck seems weaker.

Tesla framed his suppression by tycoons such as J.P. Morgan, Rothschild and Rockefeller with: “I am unwilling to accord to some small-minded and jealous individuals the satisfaction of having thwarted my efforts. These men are to me nothing more than microbes of a nasty disease. My project was retarded by laws of nature. The world was not prepared for it. It was too far ahead of time, but the same laws will prevail in the end and make it a triumphal success.”

Tesla could have saved humanity from the hydrocarbon age of fiendish exploitation and destruction consolidating psychopathic power; he could have saved us from continuous warfare to further that power consolidation. Tesla could have woke us up before the nightmare of nuclear fission for energy. Tesla could have kept us out of the tar pit. Tesla could have energized humanity, and de-energized psychopathy. Tesla could still hook us up to the very wheelwork of nature. But….

If you wonder about Satanic roots of a power great enough to keep Tesla’s gifts to humanity suppressed for so long…you might want to research the “Khazars” while the Internet still has such vital information. Try to stay away from their home base on the Information one-way dirt road, Wikipedia.

Al Gore Lied

NASA gores Gore – it’s just biz-ness –
Global Warming is out is the Take-away.
Al Gore Lied
June 28, 2013 | Veterans Today | Bob Nichols

NASA: CO2 is a Global Coolant

(San Francisco) The United States National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) lowers the Boom on Al Gore’s Big Lie that the humble, beneficial gas – CO2 – causes global warming. NASA states absolutely that Carbon Dioxide (CO2) is a Global Coolant and massively cools the Earth.

You can bet that the NASA scientists designed, built, launched and placed in Earth orbit the satellite machinery to prove it, too.

So, there we have it. In addition, the Earth has not gotten any warmer for 17 years. NASA has finally pulled the plug on Gore’s Big Lie and ended the gigantic, world wide charade on CO2.

This “discovery” about CO2 is nothing new, it’s well known by scientists not employed by the Gore-istas. The Gore-istas probably know it, too; but the money was just too good to pass up. Besides, you don’t have to do anything except sit around, make up wild stories and tell lies.

Great “job” if you like that sort of thing.

Why did Gore do it?

If you follow the money, Gore, a career politician, now has a net worth of about $200 million to $300 million dollars, conservatively. That is a stratospheric increase from about $1 million dollars in the year 2000.

They say all politics is local and if we look around in Gore’s home state of Tennessee, there are many Tennessee companies, both private and governmental, that owe their existence to Gore Jr. or his dad, Gore Sr.

US Businessweek’s Cover – Watch how
fast they ditch Gore and change their tune.
Both father and son were elected United States Senators from Tennessee and brought home the “bacon” for many companies and home state jobs. Both were the “go to” politician for various “political problems” of the sponsored companies and industries.

Nothing unusual there, many Senators see that as just part of their job as privatized public servants. In other words, they are bought and paid for many times over as they sell themselves for campaign cash. It’s a devil’s bargain.

Senators on the make have no concern whatsoever for what they are privately hired to do on government time; but, the results can disastrously boomerang on the country and world. Especially so in the very particular cases of the United States nuclear weapons programs (the nuker program.)
The high sounding Toronto Protocol of the United Nations was simply to phase out the use of CFCs word wide. CFC is an abbreviation for a chemical refrigerant manufactured, at the time, by the rich and powerful DuPont Company.
It is used in cooling systems like refrigerators and air conditioners. CFCs are responsible for killing the Ozone over Antarctica all the way to Australia. Ozone is essential to life on Earth since it blocks deadly Ultraviolet Rays from our Sun and makes the Earth habitable.

Pro-Nukers: Deadly when their Livelihoods are threatened

As far as the Nuke Labs were concerned, though, the Toronto Protocol was a poisoned dagger held to the throat of the entire US Nuclear Weapons Program by its sneaky world wide enemies.

Making uranium suitable for nuke weapons and reactor fuel rods is really hot nasty work. It requires many thousands of “tons” of air conditioning for cooling the machinery, uranium, buildings, computers and people. The air conditioning equipment in the uranium plants is saturated by Uranium Dust and impossible to work on. When it leaks CFC refrigerant gas; it just leaks.
The “close enough for government work” non-solution was to back CFC refrigerant tanker trucks up to the back of the plants and dump as much CFC as was needed into the broken machinery to try to keep it working, leaks and all.
One nuke plant was internationally known to be the point source of 55% of the CFC released to the air in North America. The nuke boys had a serious problem.

The alternative was to shut down the US Nuclear Weapons Program. That would never do. Because of these easy to follow reasons the Nuke Program and the nuclear jobs were in jeopardy from the nuke killing Toronto Protocol on CFCs.

Closing the nuker program down was a non-starter for political reasons. US World Domination is based on thousands of nuclear weapons and the willingness to use them on humans. So, forget any do-gooder “treaties” killing the US nuke weapons program.

Money – The most powerful drug in America
The threatening Toronto Anti-CFC Protocol had to be killed or sidetracked. The nuke boys would lose their cushy government jobs if not. Besides that, there was the US world domination thing based on the realistic Fear that the US Military would go Postal and blow another little country away.

Ta-Da! Al Gore to the Rescue of the Nukers!

The Nuke Boys needed a culprit substitute gas to kill the Toronto Protocol and a “Media Personality.” They decided to pick on the lowly gas Carbon Dioxide, symbol CO2; and Gore was the just the Man to lead the anti-CO2 campaign.

All that was necessary was to, literally, fool most of world. That and intimidate the rest. All people had to do was “To Believe;” or, at least not speak up. The finely crafted lie was that CO2 was a heat trapping “Greenhouse Gas” and was causing “Global Warming;” when CO2 is actually a Global Coolant. Not a problem for the New York Times and their ilk. They do stuff like that all the time and it works the same in every country.

Al Gore would be the lead “Media Personality” and was free to make as much money as he could. Above all else, the United States nuclear weapons program would survive and US world domination was assured.

Why Now on the NASA Press Release?

After many years of frustrating failed attempts, weapons physicists and scientists finally figured out how to separate the all important Bomb Grade Uranium from raw Uranium ore in 2010. The lightening speed at which the government moved to capitalize on it was amazing. The job uses far less electricity and makes a fraction of the heat

The US moved to build a new $6 Billion dollar building for uranium laser separation, closed the old plant and fired 1,150 dedicated nuke plant employees. The NASA announcement on CO2 effectively cut Al Gore loose and closed the curtain on the mythology of fictitious global warming; which is now changed to “Global Cooling.”

Welcome to your new world of Global Cooling!

“A recent NASA report throws the space agency into conflict with its climatologists after new NASA measurements prove that carbon dioxide acts as a coolant in Earth’s atmosphere. NASA’s Langley Research Center has collated data proving that “greenhouse gases” actually block up to 95 percent of harmful solar rays from reaching our planet, thus reducing the heating impact of the sun. The data was collected by Sounding of the Atmosphere using Broadband Emission Radiometry, (or SABER). SABER monitors infrared emissions from Earth’s upper atmosphere, in particular from carbon dioxide (CO2) and nitric oxide (NO), two substances thought to be playing a key role in the energy balance of air above our planet’s surface.” [Emphasis is mine]  Tiny URL:  http://tinyurl.com/ljyqxbz  http://www.drudge.com/news/167663/nasa-study-proves-carbon-dioxide-cools

4. How much is Al Gore worth? $300 Million, a conservative estimate. Al Gore net worth: Al Gore is a former senator, Vice President, environmental activist and entrepreneur who has a net worth of $300 million. Al Gore has achieved a lot in his years in the public eye, both in the public and private sectors. In addition to his net worth, he’s considered one of the most influential activists for the environment. Through his efforts in getting the word out about the danger our environment is in, he’s done much in the way of changing the conversation about the issues of global warming, pollution, and environmentalism. Gore comes from a political family, his father was a Democratic US Representative and Senator. In addition to influencing Gore’s path in life, this is also believed by some to be the reason Gore’s call to enlist in the military during the Vietnam War was held up by the Nixon administration, so as to avoid Gore’s father getting any sympathy votes! Gore himself was eventually elected Vice President under President Bill Clinton, with whom he served two consecutive four year terms. Al Gore won an Academy Award for his 2006 climate documentary An Inconvenient Truth. Gore then went on to found the cable news network Current TV. Despite their low ratings, in December 2012 Current TV was purchased by Al Jazeera for $500 million. Gore’s 20% stake in Current TV earned him $100 million in pre-tax profits. Gore is a board member of Apple Inc, and owns $35 million worth of Apple shares.
